Head Coach DeMeco Ryans: 'Proud of our guys for being relentless this entire season' 

We really have Coach of the year and Defensive and Offensive Rookie of the year. This was the greatest season for this organization all time.

As a Ravens fan I want to say how proud I am of the Texans not just to see your success this year with CJ & DeMarco & the rest of the team... but with how you've built a positive professional culture out if the drama & toxicity revealed by the Watson stuff. Very well done. Much respect. Continue to shine.

I know I’m not a head coach, I’m 12 years old, I loved the Texans ever since I was a toddler. I am really glad this team came back from a 3-13-1 record. This team will have a great reputation at winning for the next upcoming years . Our players are focused but with the false starts during the game, it took a toll on us.

I cannot be more excited about the Texans future. Go Texans.

From 3-13-1 to 11-8 and beaten in the 2nd round of the playoffs by the SB favorite. No shame in that. At the start of the 2023-2024 season, NOBODY foresaw the Texans winning their division, posting an 11-win season, and a trip to the playoffs, much less winning their 1st round playoff game. Coach Ryans has only had one off-season and one draft, then had to roll with what he had. He'll have another off-season and another draft to continue improving this team as some players that were under contract before he got here become free agents. This will allow him to continue rebuilding the roster with players he wants rather than players he was forced to go with by the previous staff. The future is bright in Houston.

I loved what Coach said in his last press conference everything will be earned not given that statement resonated with me to the core forget the score and the stats as a ravens fan you guys were incredible the blitz scheme were firing on all sides had me on the edge of my seat you guys are going to be a problem for many years to come nothing but respect from a ravens fan you guys should be proud!!

I am so proud of my Texans nobody expected us to win more then 4 games we won 10 games and won the division n win a playoff game so great season guys so happy for the great season we have a great season and a bright future with CJ stroud n Ryan's tank dell and will Anderson Jr . What a good season

i'm happy and i want to see how the texans will get better after this season they were not supposed to make the playoffs to start the season as a team in need of a rebuild and someone to bring in some stabilty for that team they can only go up from now and i believe they got the right guys in c.j stroud and demeco ryans to help change the narrative and get them over the hump to possibly win a championship one day i would love to see what they do in the draft and how they do in free agency from being picked to get the first overall pick to making the divisional round i say there rebuild is going well

As a Ravens fan, I think the Houston Texans can hold their heads up high! No shame in how they played, the Ravens where ravenous and left nothing on the plate/field. Stroud will definitely be in the playoffs next year, he played better than Lamar did at his point as a rookie.

After the Texans traded Hopkins, I got so heated, almost had an aneurysm. Stopped being a season ticket holder, gave away all my Texans gear to my family. I was so disappointed with what I was watching. The fact that we kept Bill instead of key players was just crazy. They let go of Bill, they bring in Culley, that didn’t work. Then Smith sabotaged Texans on getting the #1 pick and all you heard was how toxic the organization was becoming. Fast forward to the day they hired DeMeco, I loved they brought in a leader/captain of our playoff teams back when we had Kubiak. I paid attention to the Draft and saw what they did picking back to back in the draft. That impressed me. I kept up with all the latest from training camp and lo and behold, this organization went from being the laughingstock of the league to the most improved and man what absolutely great job Ryans has done with this team. So proud to be a TEXANS FAN. Never thought I’ll say that again. CJ is a gem. Future is bright.

I wanted our team to win but I also knew it was a mountain to climb against the Ravens was just hoping that they wouldn't be ready for being off for so long but they showed that they are a very well coached team.

I wanted Texans to win but I wanted Ravens to win as well. When it's all said and done, I wanted the ravens to go to the SB with the 49ers. That's going to be an epic. The Ravens team has everything. The Texans did not. I love my Texans team but when Tank Dell wend down, I knew it was a missing void that it would show in the playoffs. I love that the Texans took on an elite playoff team and let Stroud mostly do his thing throughout the season. We truly now know his strengths and weaknesses and can build and tweak around that. Ravens offense AND defense is something else. If there was anything to fight against that would be a learning experience it would be them. Once they switched it up after the half time I knew it was done. I knew Texans didn't make a detailed gameplan to dismantle the ravens. They CAN'T. In fact I don't think anybody does yet. Nobody has the keys to the ravens yet. For the Texans to have won they would have to be perfect. The ravens will lose to more than just talent or great coaching. 49ers have a full cast, but there is something missing. Andy Reid can make the perfect game plan against the ravens, but will his team execute it defensively? I don't see ANYBODY beating the ravens. Here's what's going to happen. The chiefs have been trash all year. They won't beat the ravens. Hell, the bills finally have the chance to get one over on KC and to the AFC championship. There is no Universe where KC is going to the SB this year. (lol please let this age like fine wine) Then Taylor Swift and Kelce break up off season when they have more time to each other lol.

This off-season o line and run game needs to be the offenses biggest focus, and on defense they need help every where. There are studs all over the defense but you gotta find more studs to opposite them and solidify the defense

Would have loved to see a closer game and more use of Pierce in the run game. Motor could not get good cuts on that field and I feel Pierce as a straight forward down hill runner could of gotten us some great production

DeMeco called a great 1st 1/2, but the OC changed his 2nd 1/2 play calling to start out, with quick pass plays to negate the blitzes & DeMeco didn’t have an answer….. Slowick however, failed the entire game ……he refused to help CJ out with 6-8 man protection & not once did he try to go over the top of the DEF…. His continual running on 1st down, when he had no running game whatsoever, put the OFF in 2nd & long a BUNCH….that’s not conducive if you’re going against the TOP DEF scoring wise in the League….. No Starter if asked, could grade their performance over a C-, they all underperformed Now the GOOD NEWS… 1-GREAT SEASON 2-FUTURE LOOKS GREAT 3-FA’s will seek to sign here to play for DeMeco & the bright future of the Team 4-plenty of $$$ for signing our FA’s & others 5-we have 5 picks in the 1st 4 rounds

It exposed several things that we already knew were areas of needed improvement. The receivers helped with almost nothing, outside of Nico and TE on occasion….it was zero help. Missing Running game made them one dimensional and against elite teams it’s too much to overcome especially in inclement weather on the road. Off season is going to be very interesting for sure. With some upgrades, the Texans will be a top tier team for sure. Future is bright!

As an Eagles fan im happy to see DeMeco Ryans grow as a coach. I'm happy for the year hes had and watching the team get better next year.

I am proud too. On paper, another divisional round exit. In reality, a rookie coach & QB find their footing, clutch last game of season to get to playoffs and win the wildcard against a great team no one thought we would beat. Then we ran into one of the best teams in recent years. Should’ve been closer but no shame in losing to the Ravens. Bright future for us!
