I renamed it to "CARY's competition head-to-head grapher", because I probably don't have the legal clearance to put WCA in the name. And hey, I like having my name in the title, anyway!

This is so cool! I just started working on an auto frame counter that detects the start frame and end frame of a solve because of the Yiheng sliding issue so that it is easier to analyze a ton of data.

Thanks elitecubingalliance! It’s really cool to see more people creating software for the benefit of making speedcubing fairer

I don’t think the WCA could use a tool like that, they have a precedent of not using frame by frame analysis

@@James_7118 True, but I think that if it was easily accessible that it would at least be there. And the community can use it as well.

this needs to be used by commentators for comp livestreams. it would make people more invested and interested to see how it all turns out in the end. amazing work!! i hope this can be pushed to a livestream!!

Please tell me this will be up on screen during NAC finals! One suggestion: when setting up competitors, have a separate string for what gets shown in the middle column so that the operator can make an aesthetic judgment call on whether to go with "valk/zemdeg" or "mats/felix" or whatever. Might be a bit nicer than just truncating longer names, especially for the well known, top-ranked cubers who people pretty much know by first name anyway.

I suggest an initial, such as F. Zemdeg, and reduce font size by 1 or 2 if it doesn't fit

I love it! Would be awesome if we see "CARY's competition head-to-head grapher" in the upcoming live streams. I think it's very intuitive to read. To make it even clearer it would be cool if someone could add 1st, 2nd, etc., above the time.

Smth you could do for the 2nd competitor going right to left is putting 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc., under each solve it will eliminate a lot of confusion, but idk if you wanna fix it or not

Love it, but the 6 char name is very limiting. I recommend reducing the font size slightly and adding an initial, like F. Zemdeg This can help distinguish some players who have very common last names

Can you please help me with making a bar graph race format video like you used to do 😭 Those were my childhood and got me obsessed with cubing history and I'm in the middle of making a giant project for a video. I just don't know how to make the actual video, just collecting the stats

This is a speedcubing channel, and less than half the comments are about speedcubing. Please only discuss speedcubing topics - if this keeps happening, I’ll have to start blocking people
