Well placed comparison. As I grow in my career, my love for cars hasn’t changed!!! Where I once researched GTRs, M3s, and C63 AMGs, I now find myself comparing R8’s, GT3RS’, and now Mclarens. Cheers
Excellent comparative review. Thank you. What I take from this is that the GT is a step up and and step forward in performance, luxury/quality, and dynamics, but for the money, the 570GT won't disappoint.
Two of the best value for money super cars . That peanut butter interior in the GT is to die for it’s Gt for me I’m going to figure out a way to get one in 2024
GT is meant to be a daily driver super car with vertical doors...geared for street over track...shits nasty af...cant daily drive all them other super car ground scrapers....this the most practical supercar...
As much as I love the 570GT looks, the newer GT gets my vote. You can already see just how more practical the newer GT than the 570GT. For a mid-engined car, that is insane!
Still confuse to make decision between GT and 570 spider...GT has ambient light and 570 not, the other hand, 570 spider could open roof but GT can’t,in appearance GT is long enough but looks too gentleman , 570 spider looks cool enough however hasn’t long tail....
Does McLaren really listen to their customers? I wonder, do they really? Those doors might look spectacular but are completely impracticable. I wonder how much the price would drop if the car had " normal " doors?
The car needs those doors .. the carbon frame is very large so a conventional door would open too far out .. 720 S doors only go out 20 inches .. super practical in real world
Great in depth review. Gotta say though, interior of the new GT looks terrible with that metal, gotta be the carbon interior. Only complaint I have on the 570GT is the fact there is no update to the Iris 2 system, if they could sort an update for that, it would be the perfect combination - come on McLaren, pull your finger out!
