Supercars Face Off! Agera vs Regera, 918 vs Chiron, La Ferrari vs Huayra, Senna vs P1 & more

Yesterday I went to Ambrì airport, in Switzerland, for the 2019 Supercar Owners Circle event in the Swiss Alps. It was really nice to see a great number of supercars and hypercars stretch their legs down the runway with some interesting battles and pairings. Those drag races weren't competitive at all, so no times and exit speeds were detected. I would have loved to go at the end of the straight to record some finish line footage but being there just as a spectator they wouldn't have allowed me to stay there for safety reasons, even 100 meters far from the airstrip. Please don't complain about the lack of a camera at the end of the straight and try to be smart, understanding that I wasn't part of the organization team and not even affiliated with them.

@James Crain What? Having the windows down heavily messes with the aerodynamics early on thus much slower accelerations. This is simply a fact. Also the HP difference is countered by the instant torque provided by the electric engine of the 918. In a 1/4 mile, I would still like to see two professional drivers race the two. 1/2 miles and longer, yeah the chiron would easily win.

Can't wait to see it race against the Chiron on Papenburg Oval again. The races there with the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse vs Koenigsegg Agera R vs Porsche 918 Spyder vs Nissan GT-R AMS Alpha 12 featured on the channel GTBoard back in 2014 was the golden times. Hope it will be reborn again.

The 918 Spyder is consistently faster than I realize.

It's very very fast off the line but lacks the horsepower above 250kph (don't know the exact speed) because the electric motors are turned off at high speeds because they would otherwise just slow down the cars due to not having a gearbox. So the 918 only has 608hp when at high speeds... Edit: Only the front motor ( the more powerful of the 2 electric motors) is turned off at 265kph so it has a bit more than 608hp but still not even half of the Bugattis power^^

918 did great but it doesnt only have 608 hp above 200kph! Youre very wrong there! Go read up on it more and dont type incorrect info! The front two motors do stop powering at higher speeds well above 200 but it also has another motor aswell.....

Zir S that’s what 4 turbos will do for ya... it weighs about 600-700 pounds more than the 918, so it’s a wee bit slower off the line. But it also has 570 more ponies than the 918, so even when the 918 takes off, the Chiron will catch it in 2 seconds

@@ttylerle kinda but even then some may have all the lessons they want , and never learned anything, in many things in life it isn’t how hard you trained or tried, it’s just either you have it or not, I may try as hard as I want , it seems I will never be able to cook something good 😂😂😂, But the first time I got on a bike without knowing how , but for some unknown reasons I find that easier to get on a bike an GO , than simply get up and walk , I may be terrible at many things, but sitting on a bike with the handlebars in my hands seem more natural to me , so for some of these peoples who have tones of moneys and are not able to control it, I guess their must be a few in themes who are hell of a cooks. 😂😂😂😂😂

Both the Charger and the Project 8 use different versions of the same ZF 8HP torque converter automatic. The fart sound comes from retarding timing to improve shift speed by bringing the revs down faster. Pretty much all modern cars with the 8-speed auto or any DSG/DCT will make this sound
