I'm a new driver and I have been watching your videos since day 1 and I just want to say thank you. You have taught me more than my trainer ever did. Please don't stop making videos like these.
I enjoy watching and listening. You have helped me understand why some trucks do what they do. Also you are incredibly safe driver. Thank You for not using trucker language!
I appreciate being able to sit beside you, riding shot gun, and seeing the country side. Thank you for sharing your experience as a long haul trucker. I find your narrative, your voice, easy to listen to and often watch one of your videos when I want to relax and chill. Thank you
Miss Jean listen at you talking about relaxing lol 😂. I totally agree with you great video. I'm a driver myself and I'm trying to conquer my fear of the mountains.
One of my favorite channels. Have driven many of your roads although from a four wheeler or ridden on two wheeler. You are truly a "Knight of the highway".
As an old truckie from Australia..I can relate to your videos..sometimes I just lock into some of your trips and it's just like your actually in the truck..Keep up the good work man and be safe.
I started riding shotgun a few months ago! Love it...you have a soothing voice and I enjoying your chit chat and explaining why you are doing what you are....too funny I showed my husband where "we" were riding...haha....after so many trips I feel like I am in the truck!
Oh, I remember those days. I miss driving truck, but not those kind of days. Keep on truckin my friend. I really enjoy riding shotgun with you. It brings back so many memories.
Its a dangerous road out there!😳 its NOT ALWAYS THE TRUCKER MANY TIMES ITS OTHERS NOT MENTALLY PREPARED TO DRIVE IN THE SNOW THAT ARE IN FRONT OF YOU😵😧😲😳 GOD BLESS YOU!!😉❤
@@CosmicStargoat he described his tires as not being the best under the driving conditions he encountered. which seriously does not translate to dangerously worn out.
what a beautifull scenery , love it to see … the snow the road the mountains and than the lights . nice moment vor nice film .greatings Ron from the Netherlands
I watched your 3 videos of the Rockies in snow and fell in love with your videos and I'm looking for more. I've always wanted to learn how to drive a truck but never did. Its like driving along with you! Thank you!
Well Mountain Man Mike; another great video of winter driving in the mountains. Thanks for the ride along and me sipping on coffee! Keep them a coming! Happy trucking trails and stay safe........ Peace!!!
Thank you for these SNOW video drives Mountain Man Mike. The trolls are jealous that they cannot drive like you in the snowy mountains. keep posting these. Until next time Watch out for the crazy 4 wheelers.
Wow !!!! That was so fun, Mountain Man. You are a great driver both in the Volvo and Caddy. Someone I could ride with and feel safe. Thanks Mike, for another snowy shotgun ride.
#269 Thank you, Mike, While grounded a home due to the Cornovirus, I enjoyed watching what Professional Truckers do in rough weather! I've never driven through that pass, but have experienced others. I use to helm/wheel ships on the Great Lakes and the mate and I would talk about truck driving and such. Stay Healthy, we/I need your cargo.
Mike, we love riding with you, but can you turn your wipers on earlier? I can’t see to help you drive when my side of the windshield is covered with water!
Dang i used to watch all your I70 videos cause i was so nervous and trying to learn as much as i could going into my new job. Now I run to Grand Junction from denver and back every week and I made it through my first winter doing it. I want to thank you! You are my mountain training and i use your tips tricks and advice regularly. Thank you thank you thank you!
Nerves of steel, Mike. I drive in western PA , I hate that feeling of slipping and sliding in winter . One drive like that, drains me. U are a Warrior . thanks for sharing with us
This is great stuff for me as a UK viewer. I hope that American people appreciate this as well, you are really blessed to have all this beauty right on your doorstep.

Thanks for the ride Sir I used to live in Rifle and boy do I miss it. Such a nice drive down to Denver (on dry pavement). I really don't miss driving on Vail pass. The last time I had to drive it I spent 6 hours up there while a wreck was cleared.
I feel freedom when I watch your videos. I enjoy watching cause I feel like I'm there on the passenger side even though I'm not, scenary drive, I love it!... Its good to keep communication with other drivers so their aware, keep safe and keep plenty of rest when driving on roads like this.
MMM: This is remarkable, I could never imagine the volume of traffic on I-70 east, having been on there in September of 2019 both ways. Keep on trucking, and thank you for what you do on a daily basis. And your videos are great!
Every time I watch your videos it’s like being on a Driving lesson a free driving lesson at that it’s awesome mate. The only thing I don’t understand is some of the ways your truck runs. We maybe call it the same thing but I love riding shotgun with you... thank You so much 😊
Sir Mike !!!! Thanks for the ride !!! Heard that CO. got hit pretty bad on Sun. /Mon. !!!! I-70 was closed !!! Anyhows,, have a good week & waiting to see what other adventures you are gona get into !!! ""KEEP IT SAFE ""!!!
I enjoyed the ride. Some folk certainly did not. We are all allowed to have our say. Thank you our Mountain Man. You did a great job of driving in what could be deemed dangerous conditions. Obviously the authorities did not think so as they would have closed the road. Thanks also for the extended footage. ✌
Another great video. As others have mentioned on here, I am so glad that I don't have to drive in these conditions. When one hits 70+ years of age, this is fun to view on video, but wouldn't want to do it. Safe driving to you.
Very entertaining and relaxing, great skills in the snow buddy. Australia has nothing like this, we are wide open planes and dirt roads. Bigger rigs up to 4 trailers, but nothing like you guys with the snow. Different skill set. Well done.
To bad Ur not able be an Instructor for all new truckers. And a lot of 4 wheelers also. U make it look easy. I live in Arkansas. We recently had snow and Ice. I have a 4wd truck. I'm disabled but learned how drive 55 years ago from my dad a trucker. U remind me of things he would say while driving in snow and ice. Ur top shelf. My dad always would say. Forget the brakes in snow and ice. He taught momentum and curves and hills.. Great job of explaining. I went to town several times during recent snow for all my neighbors. We live in hills. They just couldn't figure out how an old woman could drive in that. Ha. Said to them : my dad taught 5 boys and 1 girl how drive trucks, cars, tractors, and how back up trailor.
It is December watching you again. We are having Snow at 26 * with about 1 to 2 inches snow for cast for tonight is 2-6 Inches more. Nice to ride with you Mike
Dang good driving Mike! Not to slow that it becomes dangerous, just enough speed to be able to pull out of a situation. Keep up the good driving skills, Did it for 30 years. never got tired of learning. you are absolutely right about the speed of your rig making a big difference on handling. Even descending down hill takes proper speed to be safe, steady and no braking! yes it sucks having to be surrounded by morons on snowy roads. people have no clue on how to use snow pack to their advantage on snow covered roads. Be safe!
Exciteing video again mike.Im a trucker and would never attempt these speeds in the snow that you do,call me to cautious or scary but i enjoh watchin g YOU do it and makeing it look easy..Safe travel driver
Nice to know I'm not the only one. Having a certain yellow-orange company driver nearly take the front end off of a brand new K.W. that I was delivering into Oregon really curbed my enthusiasm for icy mountain road driving. My guess is that there was less than 12" between the back of his trailer and that shiny new chrome front bumper when he jumped in front of me. It's not me that makes me nervous, it's everyone else out there.
I love riding shotgun with you, especially in the snowy mountain videos. I want to say to all people that make such videos that being able to see the rear view mirrors on the front of your trucks adds to the fun of watching. It just adds more to the video. Not meant to be a critique , just saying. And your voice...so soothing...it makes what most people would think driving in the snow is dangerous seem like just another day at the job.
hi Mike in the snow... I enjoy traveling with you 'when the going is sleazy' that hi-performance Mustang likely has Tojo V tread for the rain and speed. The problem is, the compound is too hard for winter and he has no sipes. I put a set on my '04 Mustang GT when the Goodyear gatorbacks wore down to sandal depth. BIG mistake ... at the first stop light in the drizzlin rain I slid to a stop one hundred yards from the store. I was back in his store before the ink dried. A set of Gatorbacks all around and a memo to self to never buy at Town Unfair tire again. For driving in winter I put aggressive tread studded tires all around, a lesson from my MGB-GT days in the late '60's. I carry and use a tire gauge for weekly checkup.
Hahaha un chain melody good one Mike.... this is the 3rd time watching. Great ride. Thankyou. Maybe they were crashing because noc watching the change in temp. Because there load didn't change ...there setting didn't change ...the only change is elevation and or temp. I guess I could add incline. /type of hill..... I must remember hindsight is 100%....😋👋
