Try cleaning the bolts really good. Sometimes crap gets on the bolts and they just won't thread.

Oh I forgot to mention, my Thunderbird has a 450 hp 347 Stroker in it with Comp Cam, MSD EFI. You probably don't know about anything past 2010.

Try Performance Unlimited in Melbourne Fl. and MSD EFI. with Flowmaster 40's. You probably think a 2 seater Mustang is a Muscle car. You are probably so cheap you still drive a stock 5.0.

So if 500 hp is the magic number. Does that mean 90% of the Mustangs on the road today are junk, and every Muscle car from the 60's and early 70's are also junk. You won't say what you drive so that tells me something. I know it has got to be something that is Government Pollution Compliant.

@@oscarvillarreal8951 id do long tubes but theyre just a pain when it comes to dropping the transmissiom, doing starter etc. Between shorties and equal lengths id do equal lengths. Long tubes definitely are the way to go just keep that in mind.

@@adolfocastillo6723 Yeah, that's what I keep hearing. Shorties are the same hp. As the stock headers, equal length tubes are a good little hp. upgrade. Long tubes are the best but are a pain when changing the headers again, spark plugs, header gaskets, starter, transmission.

Just 3/8 wrench and 1/4 inch drive ratchet with swivel for some

Are you sure? I've seen a lot of fox bodies with Shorties and equal length headers when they put a turbo, especially a super charger. They say it's better than long tube headers because it takes off better on the 1st couple of gears. Or if automatic on the start of take off. It's good in the beginning for the 1/4 of mile drag race. What I heard about long tubes is that yes it gives more horse power, but you need to wrap them because they burn everything it touches. It's so cramp to install them and take them out. It takes so much bay side room you can't even work under the hood. But it does deliver. You just always have to check them. I heard they're good before you add a turbo and a supercharger. But I'm not 100% sure on this. What's your opinion.

I did equal lengths on one of my Mustangs years ago and it was a pain in the ass,unequals for me after that, like you say the gains are negligible,unequals look better and much easier to replace when needed, i guess if someone is needing a thousands of a second more then go for it but for the average guy they will be fine.

These are equal length shorty headers, so the 02 goes in the h or x pipe.

When I installed the BBK equal lenghts in my 95 was pretty smooth , back in 2006. Never had a leak or lose bolts until now... Perhaps the quality has decrease ...
