Its true. He made this song cus people bitch about his hardstyle not being "hardstyle" and yeah, if this isnt classic raw ass hardstyle idk what is. Headhunterz definitely owns the number 1 spot for hardstyle. If you havent seen him live, you have no idea about headhunterz. Too much passion from this guy
I hope he will be secret act on reverz in belgium + on his latest vlog at 5:16 there was a folder called headhunterz and wildstylez, headhunterz is back confirmed
No, actually Headhunterz himself said in Hard with style that he made this track when he was struggling with himself and trying to find where he was. In short, no this isnt what he likes doing.
Howard Rhodes i beg to differ if that was the case whys he so happy and always smiling in his interviews? you wouldnt make music like this unhappy and produce it if you weren't happy with it. he loves his music we love his music he is one of the masters of hardcore and loves what he does we all know this cov
+Tails Prower I remember that too! omg.. at first i was also 'hating' but after hearing it a few times i liked it, and i still do.. i miss him in the hardstyle scene :/
+Tails Prower Sadly, not the first time. Remember the song 'just say my name'? A reference to the forums hating him so much, that his name was even banned. But f*ck all that. The song is good and that's why we're here. :)
You sucks !! B-front is amazing. Go listen to Project One - Rate reducer for kick that is harder and milion times better that row kick of Malcie for example. Best RAW is made by Minus Militia
The reason Skrillex quit dubstep was this intro of the song! I mean the mastering on that kick and the smoothness of the distortion is just amazing! Welcome back Mr. Heady we missed you :)
he has been cured he suffered a terrible disease called housetrap whitch means he was trapped he removed all the toxins from his body and is back to re-take the scene >.< i was in tears when he quit hardstyle but the new creations a hard though! KING IS BACK
this story is pretty accurate till this day!(almost the same story, but bare with me) he once was a beloved hardstyle producer. but when he stopped making hardstyle, the fan base starting growing into a group that hated headhunterz for the giant mistake he made(forever) (i'm one of those fans). if only headhunterz made hardstyle again... ;( R.I.P. The ''REAL'' headhunterz
Romanas Zvezdovas He made very little money off Hardstyle, same with Showtek. If they wanted to stay in the Music industry they really had to change genre. Believe me, I miss Showtek and Headhunterz making hardstyle, but it was inevitable. Be happy that they made some amazing tunes before they moved on and got more successful.
DxVolatile sad but true. i just really hope that one day showtek or headhunterz (or both) just come back. like; come back as they were before going for the money and just make hardstyle again
Hardstyle is a style with 20 years of creation and has undergone many evolutions and today the good ones maintain the roots of the melodies and transmit the good vibrations through the Hardstyle.
funny how back then he was a fulltime euphoric hardstyle and than dropped this rawstyle track and absolutely destroyed every fulltime rawstyle producer hahah
Once upon a time In a faraway land A young producer Lived in a shining studio He had everything His heart desired And the music he wrote Came from the heart But then One winter's night A group of haters Came to his weblog And offered him their love If he would make a rawstyle track Repulsed by their haggard appearance The producer sneered at the gift And turned the haters away As a punishment They placed a powerful spell on him If he would make a raw track The spell would be broken If not He would be doomed To remain hated forever
Before when rawstyle wasn't really too big, not that it is today but it is more recognized. This was awesome but now that there is more rawstyle tracks, this is nothing now. haha
+VeniVidiAjax : THANK YOU! End of discussion! Raw has destroyed hardstyle. It has nothing on the original. This is from someone who was an Almere strand regular. There was already Industrial harcore back then, witch is the same thing as raw hardstyle. Stop this hype, bring our music back to the insanely high quality it once was.
+Walter nvt. Nu-Style destoyed/split the scene! Raw-Style came into existence just because of Nu-Style! Because of Nu-Style the scene drifted onto the mainstream and Raw-Style listeners and Djs didnt want this, because Hardstyle is no mainstream music and noone of the real Hardstyle fans wants it to become mainstream, through getting softer. And if you believe that Raw is the same as Industrial Hardcore you should really go and listen to the charts WTF
It is the same damn thing, just a few BPM less. I am not talking about Nu-style, I am talking about HARDstyle. Nu-style came into excistance far beyond the prime of hardstyle. I am not a fan of Nu-style either, far from it actually. I am not a fan of it getting softer, not at all. Nor am I a fan of it getting harder ( or so extremely poor-produced ) as it is today.Hardstyle today is missing the adrenaline, the beauty, the unity and most importantly the soul of what hardstye- ( and mainly Q-dance ) parties once were. Defqon and Qlimax go down in quality every single year. Not to mention the best party, in Qontrol, does'nt even excist anymore.
+Walter nvt. Raw is splitting up hardstyle, but the euphoric hardstyle is getting more and more like house, that's why Raw hardstyle is getting more popular.
kip hond depends on the artists you like. Raw can be good, but sadly most rawstyle nowadays is just a shit production, non quality. Frequencerz for example, those are quality producers. Minus Militia...at least their tracks, are horrible AF, yeah they're super loud and raw-ish, but it's just pathetic aswell. Try to put some effort in a track instead of some bad swearing vocals, screeches which sound like a screeming baby, and a fucked up hollow hardcore kick.
after a lot of research at comment sections of headhunterz songs I realized that I am the only one who subscribed headhunterz for his house music and not for hardstyle
This is hardly rawstyle. I understand that a lot of you are saying that rawstyle is the same as hardstyle except that its a little harder, but i beg to differ. There is a clear difference between rawstyle and hardstyle aside from being just harder. It's generally slightly slower, and it's more rough, deep, and even "evil" sounding. I would scale the styles of evil to good as Rawstyle, Hardstyle, Jumpstyle; in atmosphere. But that's just me being technical. whether it really matters is ultimately up to the listener and the "haters" (purists). Just wanted to leave this as a piece of mind and not as a dis to Headhunterz, as he's been a longtime Hardstyle artist favorite of mine and pretty much got me into it.
I've been listening to Hardstyle since 06 and I can tell you it was better. I much prefer what was darker themed hardstyle than what Ppl call raw style today. In general hardstyle was better. Example, Noisecontrollers-samara or anything donkey rollers produced back in the day is better than any raw style. We had a balance of euphoric and dark melodies.
You might be right. I got into hardstyle a little before it went real mainstream. I still appreciate its success though because that means more people will have easier access to enjoy it. But, of course, with mainstream access comes mainstream typicality and commercialism. Almost like every win is also a loss, if you catch my drift. I remember donkey rollers though. I found out about them about the same time i was listening to Pavo and Zany i think so if you can see that time frame of their success; that was about 4 years ago maybe. I want to add that i do like how complex things have gotten over time. I know for sure that things used to be simpler in the past and also that people appreciate that as well. Regardless, music is always evolving, right?
I agree. Id say only about 30% of today's Hardstyle is good. I can accept evolution but not always is it good. Only time will tell what the future of Hardstyle will be.
〈/†〉[Nick1921945]〈♥☺♪♫〉 Raw doens't have to be slower live it is most times speeded up to 160 bpm. Still most people that liked hardstyle hopped to Raw (just taking myself as a example) :)
You're probably right. But i feel slower would be more appropriate given that rawstyle is supposed to be the darker side of what hardstyle is. I use "Genox - Black Is..." as an example for my reference. It would be cool if you do know any songs that are harder/darker than this, but are also hardstyle-ish. I listen to a wide spectrum of electronic music.
Deze is oldskool man, de goeie ouwe tijd toen ik nog maar net hardstyle luisterde en dit echt iets nieuws was, Dikke trendsetter voor de hedendaagse RAWstyle
