Good luck out there Brother! Glad you got a skin check, it’s always a good idea to be proactive. High probability you’ve got nothing to worry about. For now, please follow the prescription below: 1) drink 2-3 pints of cold beer 2) little dinner with Boon 3) dessert back at the house 4) sleep well and don’t worry 🤘💪🙏

Cool vlog I liked seeing the picture on the wall in Buddy's bar Soi 22 at 9.40 of the old Lone Starr bar, even after 13 years i'm still gutted that they demolished Washington square.

I think a lot of people under estimate skin cancer especially if we use to live under grey skies for most of our lives (I am aware you lived in California. We get 300 days of sun here in Portugal and hopefully a couple of years here after 58 years in the UK - it will set me up for Malaysia next year. We will be getting annual medical checks just in case! Hope your mole results are a negative result!!

Normally (US), you get a "shave or core" biopsy, to diagnosis Squamous or Basal Cell, etc, you wait for result, and then you get it excised "if it's Positive" ..

Great advice- taking care of Basal Cell/ etc. spots is important as we age. Medicare pays most with a $90 copay for these procedures( Blue Cross) here in California.

Yes, I agree. I think I had a 150 copay as outpatient surgery. Luckily, it was a false alarm. All clear. Best 150 I've spent in awhile

Yes I remember The Beat Farmers. My Brother was into them. I got into “X” from listening to my Brothers Albums when he was not home. That’s right, John Doe was in Boogie nights and Great Balls of Fire. I forgot to mention those Flicks. Also I found out John was from Decatur, Illinois which was about 100 Miles from where I grew up. They are on Tour with the Psychedelic Furs and I just missed them in Az earlier this Month. I would have liked to see them again. Your Music knowledge is vast and I’d love to chat with you over a Beer when I get back to BKK. This time I’ll be sure to check out Stella’s and O’Sheas etc. I was not drinking when I went to BKK last Nov but I’ll be ready when I get back. Take care Joe

Last month, I was having breakfast at the Buddy's Bar and Grill shown in your video. From his accent, the manager was Aussie or Kiwi. I asked him about Buddy's and he said that there are FIVE locations throughout Bangkok, but one is independently owned (franchised?). For me, it's a good breakfast place to watch early morning NBA playoff games on TV.

Buddy's is fun. I've been to all the locations except Silom. They have a great BBQ the last Friday of the month at the Soi 22 location

I had a bump on my face a few years ago. I got it while vacationing in Thailand and doing a lot of golfing and walking around without sunblock. It was skin cancer. The doctor here froze it off and told me Nutregena is the best sunblock. Now I wear a wide brimmed hat and use sunblock, especially in Thailand.

@@EagerExpat Great to hear. I used to work for a company that made UV meters and Thailand has high UV, even when it’s cloudy there’s UV. Of course, I remember being 16 and we visited San Diego and I ended up at 7-11 and my friends were spraying solarcaine on me I had such a bad sunburn-which is cumulative over the years in contributing to skin cancer.

Sounds like you’re in good hands. A cardiologist once told me Swedish snus is the safest form of nicotine addiction. Virtually zero cancer cases statistically. Not the American ones. However a large 20 year study was done using West Virginia vs rest America. WV has highest dip users and they found no increase in cases. So the study was inconclusive.

I'm not sure. I've never been a dip guy. I remember Tony Gwynn a San Diego Padre. He never smoked but always used dip. He got lip cancer (I think) and he passed away. Maybe that was unusual? But, I'm glad I never started

I had some seborrheic keratoses lasered off my back at a cosmetic surgery place near Asoke and it was about 1000 US, I will check out the dermatology clinic at Bumrungrad my next trip, almost impossible to see a dermatologist here and fees are excessive even by my standards. I think I would like to try freezing versus laser, had to put creams on for a few days and yes burning flesh has an odor.

John Doe from “X” has had a few Acting gigs. He was in Roadhouse and also in Brokedown Palace which is a Movie about Thailand. I’m not sure what his Roles were. I saw this info on his very interesting Wiki Page.

I've met John a few times. He was friends with my buddies in the Beat Farmers. John has been in a ton of movies. He was in Great Balls Of Fire, Pure, Boogie Nights. Maybe 20 more. It's a good way to keep health insurance

I’m sure those older mini splits are sub 14 seer. The new ones today are 20 seer plus. I run a 22 seer in my mother in law suite and I don’t notice an increase in my power bill. I live in Texas heat

I'm not sure on the Seer rating. I do know the bill is 3000 baht compared to 1000 baht. Still, it's not that much money compared to a Texas power bill

Do you have your aircons cleaned as well? (I'm sure you did). i have my split units cleaned every six months, the amount of dirt that comes out of the interior portion of the split unit is mind boggling, the cleaning should also help with the overall efficiency. Yes older air conditioners arent as efficient though also the insulation of your condo, position of your outside walls to the sun and the type and quality of your windows also can effect how well your place can retain the temperature before the compressor has to kick in again to cool. I enjoy your channel, should be in Bangkok at the beginning of September. Not sure if you meet with subscribers or not, thought it would be cool to have beer together if you do. Keep up the cool vlogs.

I do have my units cleaned every 6 months. I agree these older units are less effective. Plus, I catch the morning sun on the windows. Still, it's a small price to pay. I love my condo, Just re-did a 24 month lease. Sure, I meet with anyone that want to buy me a beer. Ha Ha. Shoot me a message when you get to town. Is it absolutely necessary to schedule an appointment in order to see a doctor at that hospital? For example, I was up with a pain in my side, and it's possibly an appendicitis unknown to me..

No, just walk in the morning. They'll get you seen. Try to avoid the emergency room if you can. That's always more
