Is there a way of knowing (looking at the dashboard) when the day-time lights have changed to the full light system, as it gets dark outside? The green light icon on my dashboard is always on no matter the time of day or whether it’s bright or dark outside. My wife’s (none Volvo) green light icon only turns on when it gets dark and the day-time lights change to the full light system.

It’s always green as long as it’s not high beam (blue). If you look at the stalk when he’s operating it above O is the symbol for daytime running lights which is indicated in green colour on the dash. When it gets dark it will switch to the symbol above daytime running light which is the so called low beam (which will also be indicated with a green symbol in the dash).

now the Chinese product is good ??? Volvo or Polestar ( Geely ) today is not more than Chinese junk , all the parts ( MADE IN CHINA ) , broke one after other , dont buy Volvo , buy Chinese car at half price and same quality because Volvo is made by Geely , i have 2022 electric Volvo change battery under waranty new in the box ( MADE IN CHINA ) and now the electric motor is noisy new in the box ( MADE IN CHINA ) i pay for Volvo and i get a Chinese junk Reply
