Thanks for sharing Excellant video. I hv a question . Normally we can easily measure gross head for a turbine by taking difference between Head and Tail Race. How can we find actual net head available for turbine at any discharge other than Rated ?

Mam manometric efficiency definition and is these efficiencies are common to all turbine like pelton,francis,kalpan

what about the effect of water pressure and the velocity? Isn't it considered as factors in solving for head?
