Sir very nice. Sir agar aik 1/5 hp centrifugal pump 30 feet hight 1" pipe k sath pani throw karta he to kia horizontaly 400 feet tk same velocity aur GPM k sath deliver ker sakta he.? Respected sir please guide me Thanx a lot.
sir values put kr k btayn i still confused about pressure head . mary pas kuch value hn kia in sa head find ho jay ga dia 346 cc 480 Q 1800 usgpm H 115 feet n 1450rpm or moter ka data ha v 400d hz 50 kw 75 rpm 1486 A 135 cos ø 0.84
Sir I have problem that in book overall efficiency is equal to manometric efficiency ×volumetric efficiency ×mechanical efficiency. And you told different...so which one is write?
Very good expiaination Sir. I have tried to watch all centrifugal pump videos as you suggested in perticuler order I have one request. I have heard that CF pump efficiency is maximum around 80%. Please make a video on why pump can not convert all shaft power to head generation. I am not talking about pipe losses. Also explain efficiency curves and various main and operating characteristics of CF pumps
Alex Myladoor actually there’s a lot of confusion going on even in the books. If you calculate the unit of (Vw2.U2)/g then it will come as meter. And also (Vw2.U2)/g is work done per second per weight flux. Not just weight. Weight flux is (kg/s)(m/s^2)
In mechanical effort formula...You are multiplying impeller work done that is in energy per unit weight with weight making it in joule....... But dividing it with the shaft power which can be in watt.....which is wrong....So I think it impeller work done which is Vw2*U2 whose unit is KJ/kg shud be multiplied with mass flow rate making it in watt...... Then it shud be used in mechanical eff formula....... Pls reply if anyone thinks that I am wrong.......
