Best part is... that camaro is still super mild. Could go way more aggressive on the heads, cam choice, and gears, not to mention weight reduction and an auto swap. This one is still very mild and is still whooping all that ass
Seeing how well that guy was shifting I'll bet he prefers the 6 speed over the auto. I grew up shifting gears so I can't have it any other way. But I will admit I am no where near as good as this guy or a racing auto tranny.
Not bad at all for a stock bottom end ls1 with 150 shot and heads/cam setup - probably one of the most cost effective builds yet hanging with some more expensive builds or expensive cars (i.e. GT500s)
That ls1 is a ticking time bomb. Couple more pulls and it WILL blow up. That's what people don't understand about LS engines. They are like a Chinese Rolex knock off watch. They are cheap and look like the real thing but by the second day they stop working...

A 98-02 Fbody with Built SHP dart iron block, 427, TH400, D3 transbrake, MWC 9”, Twin 75’s, dual hellcat 525’s, full suspension street car = 1500 rwhp. AC blowing cold 4000lb car running mid 8’s all day. Drive it to the track after winning best in show then put the trophies in in car. Need more? Bigger turbos and add external fuel pump. People have been running this combo for years. About $50k+ car to do it right.
Dam bro I love those 2013 gt500s. Big ass motor . But I' just turn 21 so camaro ss is the biggest bang for the buck right now for me . I got heads cam and a bunch of shit . It's badass how they can keep up or be faster . I still got a 86 Monte carlos too but dam . The ls1s are a bang for the buck I got a 2002 camaro ss

Gonna go fast, make sure you have a torque arm with a safety loop I've heard horror stories of driveshafts snapping and wanting to enter the floor board
I got the same setup on my 2000 ss minus the heads, but bigger cam made 402rwhp on motor and 556rwhp and 626rwtq with 150 shot, think the one in the video makes 415rwhp on motor for anyone curious on the numbers it's putting down.
I would guess more like 440-450 to the ground with that head cam combo. I've seen as high as 460 to the ground with prc 2.5s with a custom grind n no nitrous! Love 4th gen ls1!
This is awesome....the red Camaro is impressive as hell, I like the mustangs and blue gto as well, but the 3 wide from a dig is the best I reckon that could really take off if you could find enough spots, #3wide.
