Now that the Happymodel Mobula6 is back in stock at RDQ, Heads adds the Mobula 6 to his collection. Getting used to 1s again is tricky. Quite a few ground taps. Enjoy! Pilots: Colin "Heads"
nice skills mate.. i found you first on instagram. in this covid19 era i storage charged my 4s lipo and burns the 1s pack with mobula6.. awesome whoops! ... i subs you #36 😀👍🏻
Damn man, brutal! This was 3 years ago, before I realized I was doing a lot of left turning. This is actually something I preach about a lot today to new pilots, remember to practice things both directions 😄 common problem.
I'm looking at getting a Mobula6 for indoor 1s flying to replace my Mob7 which honestly is just anemic feeling on 1s and can't catch itself after rolls/flips etc I doors (it rips on 2s though). Any experience with the Mob7 v2 on 1st vs this Mob6? Would you go 25k or 19k motors if you did it again?
Yes, i have a ton of expierence with the mob7. I learned to fly on one. Mob7 on 1s was the most depressing flights compared to 2s lol. So compared to the mob6, the mob7 is junk. The mob6 is one of the most solid 65mm bind and flys out there, imo. Freestyles like a beast, stock tune is incredibly good. If I had to do it all over, I'd stick with the 19000kv.
@@headsfpv thanks for the quick feedback. I'm curious now (and want to stay away from choice remorse lol), what condition or criteria do you see the 25kv filling that the 19k might not? For my sake, I'm just getting into FPV but like to do rolls/flips over couches and bars etc in the house. Some areas I have 7ft ceiling limit (doorways, ceiling fans etc) and would like to be able to zip up, roll over couch, let it fall some, then catch it. Just example of what I'm after he he. I think your skill level plays a strong roll in showing the capabilities of the 19kv just wondering if a newbie would benefit from any additional punch the 25kv might offer.
@@headsfpv oh as another data point, I think my TinyHawk2 on 1s is "almost there". I'm hoping here, but would you be able to compare the 19kv Mob6 to the TH2 on 1s?
@@ronh129 Yea man, no worries. So when this video came out, i was still pretty new, only about 4-5 months in. So the mob6 should be great for you! If i am understanding motor KV correctly, the 19k would offer you more power on the lower end of the thrust. The high KV will give you the power on the higher end of your throttle. So i went with 19k because I'm not on the higher end of my throttle often. I like to kinda float around when i freestyle, not zip back and forth like crazy.
