I was worried that GW wouldn't make any more Nighthaunt warbands but they surprised me! I had a ton of fun painting these guys and can't wait to try them in a match.
I played them all weekend in Nemesis and they felt very strong. I think what stood out to me most was the ease with which the objectives could be scored
I feel like the wording used in condemned counters in this warband is a bit ambiguous and confusing. There is a difference between enemy fighters having a condemned counter and you having them that I don't think the cards make clear enough and will probably lead to a lot of confusion.
I dont think you can use two reactions after an activation step, hence you CANNOT give the target a condemned counter AND use Cackling Nightmare (19:43) in the same attack. Or am i wrong? I think this card is kinda meh due to this.
I have a question about the inspiration mechanic, it says when YOU have 3 or more condemned counters, the scriptor of the sentence and a lot of ploys gives condemned counters to enemy Fighter, in the plot card says YOU gain a condemned counter when you kill a large Fighter, the attack was supported and a Fighter with a condemned counter is killed, so my question is does the condemned counters on enemy count to inspire the fighters?
They do not, but they help you get condemn counters via killing enemies with counters. So in the best case scenario you could get 3 counters with 1 kill if the attack is supported and thr fighter you kill is large and condemned.
