True story. I had just started collecting stones for healing when I found a lovely citrine point in a silver bale on a leather necklace. I absolutely had to buy it. I remember praying to God to finally be able to have a baby as I held that lovely stone. After years of infertility, I was pregnant within two months. Yes, I wore that necklace frequently. Within three years, I gave birth to two daughters at an age when some women were becoming young grandmas. Make of this what you will, but something about the energy from that crystal helped!

Unfortunately, I’ve battled depression since childhood, & I’m always looking for more alternative & natural methods in dealing with or “treating” major depressive disorder. Currently, it isn’t too extreme & in medical terms - it is “controlled”currently - but depression certainly still affects & in pacts my life in a negative way. So, I was wondering if you might share how you incorporated the Citrine & Carnelian into your life in such a way that you noticed a considerable change w depression? Do you wear the crystals, place them under your pillow, arrange them in various places in your home, & or meditate w/ them? 🙏🏼 My apologies for the 20 questions here. I’ve had various crystals for years & have always been drawn to all things metaphysical quite possibly my whole life. However, I live in a moderately conservative area & do not currently have many friends or acquaintances that have truly grappled w depression. Citrine does work for tensions and depression, I have a raw one and that works great for me. Some hours ago was upset regarding something and I lie down with the crystal on my head and naval. It did changed my mood.
I have both and I like both for different things 😀 the heat treated citrine I like under my mattress under my solar plexus/sacral chakra for a blast of happiness in my day. My natural citrine I have on my coffee table with 4 quarts points facing away from it, money flows easier to me I'm definitely noticing. It's a kundalini citrine so I'm meditating with it; imagining drawing white light up through my chakras to clear them 💕🌸✨

Thank you mam for your information. I didn't know heated amestys can become citrine. I am wearing a citrine ring. I believe it is. Long years back a Buddhist monk told me to wear for good luck as it was my birth stone. During at that time I was having some difficulties in my money matters. Well so far it has been good to me.

What about citrine from CHINA are they Real Citrine or just Amethyst heat treated to the highest degrees ? I bought one online and when i got it i was Disappointed coz it look like dark yellow clear (transparent) glass. Ive seen a lot of citrine crystal bracelets and this one is really different .
I have been rather concerned about the sustainability of mineral collecting ever since I bought my first. The fact that citrine has now became harder to find as you mentioned here, and how a lot of these minerals are mined in countries which the matter sustainability is not even considered. How do you reconcile your healing practice with the potential ethical problems around the acquisitions of crystals and contributing to what may be potentially corrupt corporations and countries?

China certainly does produce natural citrine, typically very pale yellow. However, be cautious about citrine from China on ebay - much of it is orange / honey calcite or quartz with orange iron oxide staining !

Seems to me if it isn’t yellow it isn’t real! I bet I have a pound of heat treated! So glad I finally have a real piece. It’s like a little happy lemonade ice cube!
