Malachite is one of only two stones that "found" me, or rather, resonated with me on a personal level. I have been working with crystals, and am very familiar with them. However, up until recently, malachite was a stone I was completely unfamiliar with. I was given a knife, with a dark green handle. I was completely unable to identify the material, so I began to lose interest, until the word "malachite" popped into my head out of nowhere. I was fully aware that stones have a "voice," but this particular stone had the loudest voice. After some research, I discovered that this particular stone was nothing short of tailor-made for me. I now own a dagger, with a malachite handle, which I chose to be my athame. The other stone that called out to me was seraphanite. Both are nature-based stones, but seraphanite contains celestial energy. Some pieces of seraphanite are the physical embodiment of Fae Folk, so ALWAYS treat these stones with respect! Every crystal is a living being, but some have a stronger life force than others. A Fae stone will absorb more energy than other stones, so it's fairly easy to tell them apart. Place your stones in direct sunlight, and find the one which feels hotter than the others. That is a Fae stone. They should be protected, and must NEVER be made into jewelry! Never forget that crystals are alive. Nikola Tesla stated that they are conscious beings, and should be treated as such. Crystals are neither solid, liquid, nor gas. Meaning, they defy the natural order, and could very well be the very core of life, itself. I firmly believe that crystals contain ancient knowledge from every corner of the universe. So I has to wait when they come in. My question is I saw this Malachite, and I got it’s it’s and felt very high vibration, but the sell lady said that you has to buy two that need to go together, but she didn’t said what was the name, an it’s my fault too, that I didn’t ask her. Good info. The two small pieces I have were acquired over a decade ago, so I didn't know malachite had become hard to fine. BTW, that is one beautiful stalactite cross-section-- WOW! Thanks for sharing.
Great video. Anyone into this has to try the "cylinders of the pharaoh" which are copper and zinc cylinders filled with quartz crystal can be purchased on Amazon for only 19.99. This is ancient Egyptian electrical technology that can produce .5 to 1.5 volts while holding them.
I admit I have believed the hype of toxicity for years even going to the length of keeping my malachite separate from my other stones. In The Crystal Bible vol. 1 by Judy Hall she claims malachite is toxic so should only be used polished. She does make many unfounded claims though.
In the book I have it says to cleanse it before and after use on a Quartz cluster in the sun. It says not to use salt as it can damage the stones surface.
