I've found the Healtech to be fine in a sprint ST triple. The setting that says delay is to deal with our own variability in how we shift. By setting a longer delay with a higher threshold it stops the accidental cutting of the engine and it stops the variability of our shift action affecting the actual shift. The idea is to increase the delay to make sure enough time is given to reach the threshold and that it's not just an accidental slight tap of the gear lever. I thought your shifts seemed good at both low and high rpm. Removing any play in the linkages by renewing them Helps the feel a lot. I was so paranoid about over tightening the sensor that my gear arm was loose on the gear spindle... So I turned on the phone app and kept tightening the nut until I saw it was beginning to read on the sensitivity then of course back it off. This made sure the arm that the Bolt went through wasn't too tight but not too loose either. Very good video. Very clear diction and good camera work.

Took her out for twenty minutes or so today and i ramped the sensor sensitivity all the way up and it deffinetly made a big difference. I also put the cutoff delay to 10ms.. i might turn up the cut off delay alittle bit to see how the bike responds in coming days.

nice vid thanks, i have a healtech on my 2015 kawa Z1000 and have to say i wouldnt use it below 5000 rpm as its crude to say the least and certainly not smooth and fluid, and even then only works well in the higher rev range if on the shift rod and not as advised by Healtech on the spline. this is just my opinion but no matter what settings you try the sensor is just not consistent enough for lower rev changes, works well enough in the high rev range which i guess is what a quickshifter is designed for. Anyway thanks for a nice informative vid.

This is a test-run in higher rpm range: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PLcBnk6NFkI.html For my experience on my 2004 cbr1000rr it does change gear okay in lower rpm ranges after tuning the killtimes a little bit down from standard. But the high rpm ranges, it just slides lovely into the next gear like ... (place nasty comparisation)...

Found out what the jumper plug is for. You can use the jumper plug to turn off the QS function. Disconnect the iQSE-1 module and connect the Jumper plug to the 4-pole plug of the QSH harness.
