Welcome to my little part of RU-vid & thanks for getting this far! So now you're here what are you going to find? I do motorcycle reviews, kit and gear reviews, motorcycle tours and not forgetting garage based modification builds.
I currently own 5 bikes... Yes luck sod! First one is a 2017 Kawasaki H2 which is my bananas bike. I also have a KTM 690 SMCR, Suzuki K8 GSXR1000 and two project machines. First is a Ducati Hypermotard 1100S & a 1990 Kawasaki ZXR750 H1/H2 which is currently in bits being rebuilt! So settle in, put the kettle on and have a look around :-)

A little vibration through the pegs or bars is ok. The early versions of the t-plane bikes were far from that. Glad Triumph have sorted out the issues.
What a beautiful piece of kit. With so many bikes around now, packed to their gills with electronic wizardry, it is so refreshing to go analogue for a while. Love the in-depth appraisal and your road skills certainly exploited those 70+ horses to the limit. Great stuff. I enjoyed every minute.
mpressive technology, but why introduce it on a hooligan bike like the MT-09? Seems odd as I would think this would be more applicable to the Tracer for touring. My hope is you don't think we ALL want an automatic. Please offer this as an option rather than replacing the manual transmissions, and the traditional clutch lever and foot shifter. I respectfully disagree that this technology will make anyone more "one" with the bike. I believe it will do the opposite, it will disconnect the rider from what is going on and make them more of a passive participant in the riding experience :(
"I've tried all sorts of enduro and adventure motorcycles over the years and the Gas Gas ES700 could be the perfect real world trail ridding motorcycle!" Love reading bs ...
Great review, but it's sad really when you had the ktm rc8 with adjustable everything. These sports bike don't and make them more road rider friendly. Plus as a race bike racers change everything anyway.
I’ll wait until the depreciation brings the 2024 updated model into my price range then I’ll rethink it….i think for touring, especially wet weather anywhere, it would keep you on the tarmac ridden sensibly…I might just be a shitty rider but I’ve lost front ends before (someone saying above they never have 🤷♂️)and crawled around roundabouts in the wet on the wrong tyres, not a nice feeling…I do like the idea of it and now I’m a 60 yr old fart it might keep me alive longer…but that 16k price-tag man !!
I'm thinking of making the jump to middleweight supersports and looking at these, gixxers and zx6r. I have a CB650F at the minute which screams pretty well for a 90hp naked bike. Is this bike enough of a difference overall though? Apart from revving higher, I'd hate to invest in a new bike only to find it's similar to my old one.
These reviews/camparisons are all well and good being that both these bikes are brand new. Test the equivalent ktm and yamaha that are 5 years old. Ill put my money on the yamaha being the better bike.. Because it still works perfectly and is 95% the bike it was when new. The ktm however, probably sat in the bike breakers yard
Why did you choose kraftwerk over brands like sealey or clarke etc? I'm looking at getting something like your garage modular storage thing for my place
For long days in the saddle, check out rippl padded under garments (=pants!) - did a 8 day Pyrenees tour on my '21 XR with Bruce Smart and Simon Weir in June - wore my rippls everyday, not a problem (did wash them every night 😁).
I’ve ridden one & yes I liked it but it is a very basic motorcycle! If you’re going to replicate something from the past, then iron out those old gremlins like vibration, especially through the foot rests, your feet vibrate off the pegs, sorry but that’s just naff! It’s a six grand bike , a little better than the BSA in Royal Enfield 650’s. Nowhere near the price they’re asking.
Can you fold this up for easy storage in your garage without taking it apart? I wouldn't want to keep assembling and unassembling it but also I don't have lots of storage.
As long as it is an option and you can still get the same bikes with a clutch lever and a clutch, I am all good with it. I love technology, but I still much prefer shifting myself! Not interested in a crop of two wheel cars :( I am also good with Quick Shifters and Honda's E-Clutch as they both still allow manual, tradition shifting.
