I’ve been saying this for a while now. Just like the cable/phone companies do and they also need more competition. A Solar system should be independent because it’s free energy but I understand that no form of electricity can be used in Ja without JPS’ permission and intervention. All the persons I spoke to including builders have told me that’s the case. Many of us in the diaspora that wanna come home have too many challenges like these. If there are alternatives why not let us be as long as we’re paying the already high taxes smh

My condolences to the family and friends of the police officer who lost his life in that unfortunate situation. My concern is why the officer didn’t handcuff the prisoner. It seems this may be due to the social status of the individual involved. I believe that if the person were an ordinary, poor individual, they would have been handcuffed. There must be a uniform standard for everyone, regardless of their social status. When in custody, everyone should be handcuffed.

Jamaica needs a serious solar and battery storage rollout. All of that sunshine - all of that energy can be harnessed and stored. Need to look at how Florida's solar infrastructure survives and is resilient to hurricane events.

Where is the health authorities in these fast foods, restaurants to do food inpections, many places cooking food in st ann do not even have rest rooms or proper sanitations area. Supermarkets needs to be checked as well as they werw locked up for days after beryl.

I'll never forget, back in the days, JPS workers would work minimally during the week days. This is so that they could work on the weekends in order to receive time and half and double time pay. Citizens must look out for this practice where they sit and play dominoes for most of each week day. Then Saturday and Sundays, they're ready to work.

The p.m. will take all that donation for himself. He has been getting donation from America and all the Commonwealth country and everywhere else and have not given anyone or use the money to help the poor people that is impacted with the hurricane.
