On February 27, 2024, the Pandemic Center hosted a webinar titled Health Equity in Pandemic Response: Lessons from Rhode Island.
The panel discussed how to embed equity, particularly racial equity, as a core value in pandemic preparedness and response. The conversation focused on what can be learned from Rhode Island’s experiences and applied to communities in the state and beyond.
This event was hosted by Jennifer Nuzzo, DrPH, Professor of Epidemiology and Director of the Pandemic Center. The panel was comprised of experts in this field:
