i can see this both ways. In the case of the royals I weigh more in favor of if they wish to play close to chest perhaps that is fine. About 49 years ago, I experienced the same thing that Princess Sophie did. My placenta tore from the uterus and my son was trying to come out before I was fully dilated. The doctor had to perform an emergency c-section to save both my and my son's life. My son was going into fetal distress and of course, I was loosing too much blood. I think that there's a balance where the public has some information but not all of the details. I think that Catherine, Princess of Wales has done is perfect. She's recovering from surgery but we don't really need all of personal details.
Speaking about such a wide array of issues of the RF, I thought they would touch upon the issue of Catherine, PoW's, illness for entering the hospital for 13 days. Even if they do not talk about what the surgery is for, it could at least give us a hint. Or even the illness of Prince Edward lately, or the elderly lesser Royals like Duke of Kent, Prince & Princess Michael of Kent, or Princess Alexandra.
