HEALTHY ASDA FOOD HAUL || What I eat to lose weight
Hey guys! Today I am back with another food haul - I am really on a mission to get back my healthy lifestyle of eating a good balanced diet and working out again. It's really something I want to just make part of my life and maintain but obviously with lockdown I feel as though for us all it's made healthy eating and working out a little less motivating! Anyway I always feel like when I have a fridge stocked of good healthy food it's always so much easier so here's some bits I picked up for the next couple of weeks! x

Exactly the same with aldi, there’s a few things that I just can’t get from there I have to go somewhere else. Always find the fruit doesn’t last as long which is frustrating but I still love it because you can get some good bargains xxx

I agree same in lidl like the sauces ect they don't really have many. They are more and essential food store more than anything.

remember to check your macros on food as well (fats, carbs, sugars, ect) despite low calories things can still be really high in those! sometimes you can end up eating much more fat than you should by having a few low cal treats instead of one big naughty thing

Ahhh yes very good point hun! 🥰. I track everything in an app that tells me fats/carbs/sugar so that’s super helpful! Xxx

@@LauraMeachem Remember too that you don't need to track your macros unless you are eating a low carb way. It makes it easier to monitor your carbs (sugars). I love your grocery haul, it's all so tasty and healthy, thanks Laura. :)

doesn’t need to at all, she’s stunning! but for some people knowing that could eat something they really want to, instead of a few lower cal not as satisfying alternatives can make the world of difference! everyone’s different

Low fat/0 sugar usualy means plenty of new and improved chemicals which are just great for health. I feel like begin with ingredients then move to macros and then move to calories is the way to go

Glad you said that about Aldi. The veg rots so quickly! The meat is just tasteless. Their food dupes are basically just rips off but with all the flavour removed! Xx

Glad I am not the only one missing wotsits prawn cocktails!! I used love them. I also brought the prawn cocktail quarters, yet I feel they are rather bland! Lol One thing I've noticed is...I spend more in Aldi & I can't even do a full shop there either. Whereas when I go Asda I spend less and I actually feel I get more for my money. More so I weigh out alot of items as it's cheaper and I waste less also. So that helps. You can't do that in Aldi. So for me Asda or Teaco (I have a club card so you get member priced items) win for me. I only go Aldi for the gin as that's cheaper and I have an Aldi and Asda literally next door to eachother.

I hope you don’t mind me saying as someone who has had anorexia for 15 years I don’t think it’s a good idea for the tittle to be what it is with a picture of you looking very slim any other girl/woman/boy/man out there is going to think if she needs to loose weight then I definitely do!!!! Just bare in mind for the future about how you word things, healthy eating is about a healthy body and a healthy mind it is not just about weight loss 😊👍

Hey Emma, I completely understand weight loss can be a sensitive subject and I am in no way trying to trigger people or make people think they need to lose weight. The title is just merely what the video is about - a healthy food haul in which contain foods I buy and eat to lose weight. The picture of me looking slim is definitely not what I am now... just what I’m aiming to get back to. I like to think I talk very positive about food and having a balanced diet because there are way too many people promoting such unhealthy lifestyles and ways to lose weight. I eat lots of good food and never restrict myself which is exactly how it should be! If people are merely going to be influenced by reading a title and looking at a picture without the context I think it’s a little silly personally. 💕 xxxxx

@@LauraMeachem completely understand where your coming from and I’ve been a subscriber of yours for years, it’s just how you mean something to come across is not always what is perceived and it can be those tiny triggers that can send people to far. Just speaking from experience but thank u for giving your side 🙏

Yeah I completely understand that and obviously triggering someone (especially someone who’s had an ED or is battling one) is the last thing I would want to do and that is why I do try and be so careful with how I speak about food etc because like you say thing’s can sometimes not come across how you mean it to - like the title and the picture. It’s just so hard with this job as sometimes you feel like you can’t say or do anything without someone taking it out of context when you mean no harm ❤️. Xxxxx

I think this video was really well done. She didn’t say anything about being fat or pushing healthy eating she just recognised she has maybe put on a couple of pounds like most of us and wanted to eat healthy, not starve herself. The video is very clear and anyone triggered by food should know to stay well clear of this content!

Hi Laura, it's been very difficult, "definitely need to sort something out". Very tired to.. Just a 30 min walk would help. Under the certain climate. Its been very hard. I think I'm going to do this 2 week challange. Detox, warm water, with fresh lemons. Plus "apple cider.". I'm a vegetarian. Plus Lactose intolerant. I'm going to go on a diet. No snacking at night. I can see me living on rice, Fish, salads. That's it Laura. No Hot chocolate, just water. Definitely no caffeine. No tea, coffee, no alcohol.. Thankyou.......... I'm not going to even weigh myself. "bring it on". "wish me luck". "I know I can do this"..... Salads, veg. That's it.... I will let you know how I get on....

Im a Tesco shopper, never shopped aldi or lidl but really need to check em out , dont need a gym laura, just walking is good n its free! X

i know what Laura means about the gym I have missed it and am thinking to join again. I think when you work from home you need thats time out of your home. As you are not going to work like normal 9 to 5 jobs so you can get anti social and fed up. I have had it when i have been off I tend to stay in and not go out. I'm on my 1st week of 3 off and am thinking to ring up and book over time 😂😂

great selection here Laura I wanted to do a healthy eating video as I feel fat but have been working full time in this pandemic. I mainly go to lidle but agree like Aldi they are good for basics but not if you like some branded foods. I have looked all over Solihull and south Birmingham no one here sell sweet and smokey strips. Shame as I'm trying to cut down on my meat and this would make a nice change.

Love a food haul 🙂 like to get different ideas for meals 😊 though I must say I have never had a problem with Aldis fruit 😊 but I also agree about getting certain things from Aldi and the rest from Morrisons 😍

Laura why you bothered about calories if you’re trying to lose weight it’s not about tried to have little calories because some of the most calorific foods are good for you and your body needs them like omega 3 and fatty acids the best way to lose weight even though you don’t need to lose weight you’re beautiful is to do cardio exercises that work your full body like running or even walking is better for weight loss than things like squats and sit ups
