I made this soup for our Sabbath meal. It was a big hit with the grown-ups but the little kids were suspicious of anything that wasn't chicken soup. They loved crunching on the tortilla chips though. Thanks for this super soup!
I made this recipe tonight and it was delicious. I made a couple of small modifications: 1] I used boneless skinless chicken thighs and seared them in the pot before removing them and doing the vegetables. 2] I added a bit of sharp cheddar and heavy cream toward the end of cooking. Other than that I followed the recipe to the letter and everyone really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be making it again. Thanks, Kaleb!
Hello Kaleb....i made this soup this evening it was excellent..perfect for a drizzling foggy day. I had some roasted chicken leftover from a Costco purchase and it worked perfectly 😊 Thank you.
Kaleb, did you and you mother and your grandmother get the copy of the novel “Homestead”? I send you a few copies of “Prairie” last year... I thought that you/they might like the sequel. And BTW, I just offered a reward/bonus challenge to all my staff-members if they make this soup on a cold night in January... They get a cooking tutorial from you, a bonus from me and a special and unique meal for their families. Everybody wins !!!
We are having a freak warm, it's going to be 71 today and 78 tomorrow! A few days ago it was cold af. Luckily, I am a year round soup person because this looks tasty
@@jeffa7671 ... after you sear the vegetables and spices, I'd do 10.minutes under pressure with 10 minutes natural release then add the immulsified white beans to thicken the soup.
