A few things that have helped to control my hairfall include: (1) I discontinued wearing ponytails because it leds to tension breakage. (2) I started massaging my scalp twice a week with liitleextra cocoonnion hair oil while leaning forward & holding my head upside down to allow blood flow to the scalp. (3) Covering my head while moving out to shield my hair from pollution. (4) Using mild shampoo again from liittleextra only to wash my hair.

@@stealthis Even after all this it takes another 40ish mins to properly blow dry this much hair. First leave in conditioner wait a few minutes, blow dry cream for heat protection and frizz, then you have to add a bit of oil to the mid and ends. That doesn't include if you want to do a style or updo. So it's easily 3-5 hours to get ready pending on what you want to do. (yes that time includes picking out the outfit, hair, makeup and the works)

I have learned that when applying K18 you are suppose to EMULSIFY in you hands for about 20 seconds! Only use one pump, rub your hands together and afterwards you will have a white film covering both hands. It will be plenty for your long hair and it will then be so easy to apply to your hair. It also warms the product up just a bit and ensures you don't use too much. This was discussed on the K18 forum on FB and it's a game changer for so many, as is the fact that you can apply conditioner afterwards and rinse.

Seems like a pretty solid routine very well thought out with reasoned steps, got some good tips! I owe you a huge thanks for the k18 hack!!! I went 5 days without washing my hair, oiled last night, this morning I refreshed my blue color over the 5 day oily hair, shampooed twice with redken acidic bonding shampoo, towel dried, applied k18, waited 4-5 mins, went back in the shower, applied the redken acidic bonding conditioner, finished my shower and used the acidic bonding leave in treatment, straightened my hair and OMGG the difference in breakage is night and day! Almost none! Totally saved my hair from the extreme breakage and damage aphogee 2 step caused! I’m going to stick with 1-2x a week hair washing and keep using these products in this way. My hair doesn’t look fried or thin anymore! I’m so happy 🙏🏻😁✨

My 2 favorite wash routines are to (1) first use a scalp massager, a rosemary pre wash oil and scalp massage again. Then wash with the loreal clarifying shampoo, and conditioner. Then follow with a leave in conditioner. I like the 21 loreal leave in, then argon oil or bio silk. (2) For bond repair wash days I use loreal bond repair pre poo, then her liason bond repair shampoo, dove 10-in-1 bond repair deep conditioning mask (i also love the Pantene miracle rescue deep conditioning treatment), followed by her liason bond repair conditioner. Then follow up with the loreal leave in conditioner followed by either argon oil or bio silk. The bond repair routine will let me go about 5-6 days without getting super greasy ( I don't have an oily scalp). With the oiling routine wash day , it usually feels super greasy (for my hair after day 2) so I'm going to cut down on how often I use the scalp oil during the clarifying wash routine or just use it on my mids and ends. My hair is fine and thin along with bleach color treated hair. My hair has new growth and is a lot fuller with less thinning and fallout since using the her liason bond repair shampoo and conditioner set. They also offer a hair serum that can be used as a pre wash treatment so i might swap it out with the rosemary scalp oil because it might be too heavy for my hair. My scalp is not oily by any means and tends to be on the drier side but the rosemary oil might be too heavy for for 2a-b type hair. I also stopped using tight pony tails and use a loose bun or claw clip. With my job, i have to have my hair up, so it has had a significant improvement in my hair. It's so much healthier, shinier, and easier to maintain. I also sleep in a silk bonnet, and it's been a game changer!!

When I bought k18 two weeks ago, I felt like it was such a gamble (because it’s so expensive 😭) There’s not a lot of review and “word of mouth” saying it’s good. But I took a risk because my 2nd bleach appointment was close and I’m so glad I did! 4 days after my bleach appointment, I finally washed my hair and oh boy, did it feel so much better! It’s not a moisturizing product but the integrity of my hair started improving. I’ll continue to use it until after this blonde dream shenanigans is over.

A few changes…I use the olaplex number 3 on damp hair for 45 min, then acv dbhue rinse, then shampoo twice, towel dry with my microfiber towel, k18, wait at least 4 minutes, then bb invisible oil mask (wow- first time using and totally ordered a second bottle-so amazing!), left that on while having dinner with my family. Hi, sorry to tell you - coconat oil is not protecting from damage. When dyeing, on the contrary, it prevents the color from penetrating the hair and the hair is damaged anyway. Coconut oil max. will create a greasy filter like any other oil on the hair.

Thanks for your video. I have a water softener and I think it is a game changer. It does help with hair loss as well. Since washing with soft water, I have noticed much less hair loss, nearly none. Less dryness on my scalp that was so very dry in the past because of hard water. I also decided to stop a few years ago the heaviest silicones as I noticed that when I used silicones that I was loosing a lot of hair (too much hair). I made an experience during two months washing my hair without silicones and I lost less hair and after two months nearly none. Then I decided to use silicones again to see if it would make a difference and again I was starting to loose hair again. After this experience, I concluded that using silicones for my hair was harmful and caused my hair loss. I have to admit my hair didn’t look very good for a while but I was so relieved about the fact I was not loosing any hair. I am trying to find good products without silicones (and it is not that easy) but I tried different things that really improved the texture of my hair that are healthier that they used to be. I wash my hair once a week (twice max). However, I am still looking for the game changer in terms of hair care but I am going to start to use K18. I think my hair lack a bit of shine so I am looking for a good product to resolve this.

I have a leave-in conditioner from RUSK that I really like. A leave-in conditioner may be another option. Also, I was told by a stylist that you can basically make any conditioner into a leave-in by diluting or simply using less.

As a stylist I always recommend to shampoo twice because a lot of people don’t. Their “clean” hair is still greasy and the back gets missed. If you go more than a day or two without washing, always multi shampoo, and if you go a week, always clarify. Also, with blondes, some purple shampoos will say to leave in for a few mins. I tell people to follow the directions and not to overuse.

Abbey my hair is jacked ever since I got my tape in extensions out. My hair type is almost identical to yours- fine strands, but a lot of them, basically straight, and alot of it is blonde except for my root smudge. My hair is so thin now from just not taking care of it and also having extensions. I’ve been trying too grow my hair out for a year and a half now, and I know it’s plateauing because of breakage. My hair actually grows pretty fast because my money pieces get grown out so quickly. I went out and bought almost every product you use and I’m going to follow your routine and hope it helps to stop my breakage. I’ve followed this routine only once so far and I can tell a huge improvement already!! The ACV rinse really shocked me tho! It felt like I was rubbing water through my hair and it seemed a little gimmicky BUT when I rinsed it out, my hair was sooo smooth! And it REALLY helped me be able to evenly apply my shampoo! I usually have a really hard time distributing shampoo in my hair because my hair is so dry on the ends. But the Acv rinse gave my hair the slip it needed to evenly distribute the shampoo all over my head. Anyways I know this is long but I just wanna say thank you for your excellent videos!!

@@Galdra Not fully lather but, I find that with my hair if I take the shampoo from the bottle and immediately put it in my hair without doing anything then it doesn't go anywhere. I need to get it started a little bit in my hands first before putting it in my hair. It cuts down the amount of product I use but because I always shampoo at least twice I still come out with a clean scalp. I literally would have to use handfuls of shampoo to get it to spread over all my scalp if I didn't work it in my hands a little bit first. I'm fully aware of how shampoos lather and what it means. Before I started doing this I would go through shampoo very quickly and now I don't but with the same end result. It's probably also important to note I only wash my hair once a week max.

Ive been using LED light therapy for my hair the past 2 months (Celluma Pro) and wow, I have less shedding, you can tell the roots are behaving differently. And its great for my skin!

Why do you use regular conditioner after the mask? I usually use it before so that I can detangle my hair then I put the mask on so that it spreads easier and I don't need to use as much of it and waste it.

conditioners seal more than nourish, and if you put it before it can prevent the mask from penetrating and nourishing your hair. putting it after seals in all of the great benefits the hair mask provides

I sleep with argan oil in my hair the night before I wash it. After I wash my hair, I squeeze out as much water as possible then do about two pumps of coconut oil in my hair. I comb it through using a wide tooth comb. Then I put my hair in a microfiber hair turban for a few hours. I tend to damage my hair a lot so my new hair routine has been a life saver. This makes my hair so silky.

Thanks so much for the tips! My hair has severe/extreme breakage after an aphogee 2 step treatment I did. I should have just kept using k18 only. My hair is bleached and dyed blue and purple and pink but the breakage was ok considering I was washing and straightening every day since I was using k18. After the aphogee though my hair literally crumbles to the touch and fortunately k18 has helped stop some of it. I’m washing only once a week now and this is a great way to incorporate the entire redden acidic bonding line along with k18. Didn’t know you could get back in the shower to condition! Game changer :) thank you!

My favorite would be my 1 litre filtered water bottle, I can't have a shower installed in my home (plumbing reasons) so i rely on my sink and a jug lol. I use the filtered water as a final rinse to close the cuticles. Product would be the L'Oréal dream lengths serum cause it's cheap, silicone free and has some heat protection ❤️

For me, mask is kinda like skin care serum. Serum targets a more specific skin goals and moisturizer just, you know, moisturize. With hair I have hair masks in rotation, protein masks, deep moisture masks, color depositing masks then I have my regular conditioner that just conditions. But with that said, I’m on a crazy hair care journey rn because I recently just started bleaching my hair. Maybe it’s not necessary for certain people but super necessary for mine. 😅

Omg! I thought I was the only one who did this! My wash day routine is crazy too, but I wash once a week (or longer)! 1-2 days before washing, I slather on aloe & living proof pre shampoo treatment & seal that in with straight unrefined coconut oil (pure Shea butter too if it’s really dry) & day of, I use the shower hose sprayer (also have a filter on it since my skin is so sensitive) to then shampoo twice on scalp (head upside down cause I run every day and I want to get the back of my head well)… mostly cause I’m one of those who’s actually allergic to SLS so my shampoo is gentle (Desert Essence tea tree). Then I’ll towel dry, add a conditioning mask (the macadamia one that smells like green apple) & hit it with the scalp massager tool (conditioner provides more slip), brush conditioner with wet brush (THICK hair & I need to make sure it’s all covered), add more to ends, clip up and put a shower cap on for a while… then hop in the shower (sometimes i add a purple toning conditioner to the ends at this stage too), shower and rinse…. It’s a whole thing…. I have super THICK semi coarse wavy hair (not super long but shag haircut so bottom is longer) & I’ve mostly grown out my highlights (it’s what I call the ghetto ombré) but my hair can get frizzy easy where it’s curlier and coarser…. My hair is so nourished with this process and during the week I don’t even need dry shampoo! And it never smells despite running every day😊

Oil the roots because this is where the actual nutritions can be absorbed. The helath of the scalp is important. Don't brush oily hair (oiledhairis very sensitive) and don't put too much oils it can clog the follicles and it is very hard to rinse it out. Leave oils only 2-3 hours. Instead of using a commercial conditioner do a acv rinse and then put a little oil (argan, sesame, jojoba) especially on the ends. That's it. 😊

I have extremely fine thick hair…I recently changed hair back to my natural because it grows out so fast it was making me poor and killing my hair…but even so my hair is finicky. I wash with a mix of pureology shampoo and head and shoulders plus I do massage scalp completely and wash twice before conditioner and I do not condition near my scalp at all. I find leaving in a microfiber hair turban and then cold blow dry or air dry is best and brush with little to no product and I’d only use pureology 21 benefits…then flat iron. I then oil the tips with Aujua Immerise Exceed Serum. It’s expensive and import only I got it from a friend in Philippines
