I am so lucky to live in a place where Lake Tahoe is just an hour or so away, and I can go to the coast- also a few hours away!! It’s hard to choose because there’s something so calming about the peaceful lake waters, crisp pine smell and beautiful views! However, the salt water of the beach, the sunshine and sand mixture is so healing as well!! Also- I think beach sunsets are the most beautiful 🥲🫶

Im 100% a lake person! I love the calmness and the predictability of a lake vs a beach there can be good days but also bad days and you never really know the level of the waves. I grew up going to the lake with my family and now being able to go with my own family is such a beautiful thing. ❤

I love both the beach and the lake but if I had to choose one, I would probably choose lake because it’s a family tradition we do every summer to travel and rent a lake house for a few days to recharge and decompress for summer with our family in the beautiful outdoors!!

While I love a good beach both on the edge of the ocean and a lake, I think I have to say I prefer being by the ocean. There is something so calming hearing the waves crash, with the sun shimmering on it, and looking out into a sea of never-ending blue. Don't get me wrong, I love the peacefulness and serenity of lakes and being in the trees, the air is different... but I really am a ocean beach girly at heart 🌞

Oh my goodness this was such a hard question for me!!! I LOVE the beach, the ocean, the sun, the breeze BUT I get so bothered by the sand!!!! I love kayaking but something & water sports at the lake, yet we don’t have a nice lake near my home. I’m just grateful for any time I can get outside & experiencing the beauty & peace of nature. God is good & he loves you so! What a joy you are to all who know you! 💙

I love the lake. Perfect balance of sun and nature, fresh cooling breeze. But more than anything I absolutely love summer rainy days! It cooling and comforting and perfect to experience inside with a book or on my patio with a cup of tea and devotional or just being still and resting while gazing in wonder of one of my favorite things to experience. There is nothing like experiencing all seasons of Gods wonderful creation but I would say during these times are the best.
