So I just heard the album today (Sept. 26) on the New Zealand iTunes store (because it's already Sept. 27 there) and the new mixes sound great! I can't wait to buy the album tomorrow! But there are a few disappointments. First, the only problem I hear so far on the main album is that "Her Majesty" starts only in the right speaker and then fades over to only the left speaker by the end of the song. That's really annoying to me, but can easily be fixed in audio editing software. As for the deluxe songs, I don't care about any earlier takes of album songs, but I was very disappointed to hear that Paul’s "Goodbye" demo is still the same low-quality version (with the frequency constantly changing) that's been floating around on bootlegs for years. The drums in "Come and Get It" are only in the right speaker, which is really annoying to me, but at least there's the Anthology 3 mix, which I think is a better mix. And finally, there are no new mixes of the final versions of "Ballad of John & Yoko" and "Old Brown Shoe". But again, the main album sounds great! :)
@@MichaelP_IsMe Hey Thanks for replying. Its a good tip though! To preview the songs early so one can know which version is best. I just can't wait for Friday! I'm a huge Beatles fan. Its really really hard to find people my age that likes the Beatles (I'm 18).
@@juanfelipemontes1595 That's awesome! If you read the original album notes for their 1964 album "Beatles For Sale", it predicted that the kids of 2000 AD would love The Beatles! :)
Interesting idea. Thanks for sharing. The cons are you really can’t listen to the whole songs and you are only previewing them a day early so it’s not very beneficial.
Yeah, I usually buy physical copies for albums I really like, so I just use this tip when trying to decide which version of an album I want to buy. That way I can just go get the one I want as soon as it hits the store shelves :)
