I was prescribed 4 blood pressure meds. I was told I'd have to take meds for the rest of my life. So I decided to go on a 21 day water fast. After the fast I've been on a plant based diet and was taken off blood pressure meds. My doctor was amazed and had to take me off the blood pressure meds. The same doctor that told me I'd be on meds for the rest of my life had to take me off the meds. It felt so good to prove her wrong.
1. Did you only drink water for 21 days? 2. Did you get weak after 3, 4, or 5 days? 3. Did you get any headaches during this time? 4. How did you find a way to press on until the end? Please respond in order. Thank you. You must have lost weight too.🌱🌸
@@blackapples4744 Only water for 21 days. Not one headache and only felt weak after day 6 or 7 because my pressure was low due to not consuming calories and taken one of my blood pressure meds. At that point is when I knew I didn't need the meds. I was able to press on because I was determined to get off meds. The meds are poison and our bodies are designed to repair itself. I proved that.
Carvedilol did a job on my mother, who takes insulin for her diabetes. She was having stroke or epileptic like symptoms every time she used it. MRI would show nothing no stroke, no seizure. I finally went to Mayo Clinic drug site and it showed this drug interacted with insulin. Finally figured it was a drug interaction. Taken off Coreg and symptoms left after drug left her body!
Greatest takeaway: Optimal Health is Key! Love how you took all the variables, rolled them into a ball, and threw it in the most strategic direction----> Refocus on Optimal Health ---> coming off meds may not only be easy but necessary. Simple and on point! Thanks again, Doctor. 🙏🏼
I was prescribed 4 blood pressure meds and was told I'd have to take meds for the rest of my life. I took matters in my own hands and went on a 21-day water fast and refused to take the meds. After the fast I changed my diet to a plant based diet and was taken off meds. My doctor told me to my face I healed myself. The same doctor that said I'd be on meds for the rest of my life. It felt so good to prove her wrong and to see her stupid look on her face. 😂
Thanks Very important information. I am on most of the first level of meds you mentioned Toprol, lasix, statin and HA1C before 5.5 Up after 7.9 I stop statin change diet and B-Fast lost wt. 6.4 now but experience dizzness
Excellent information! Go mostly plant based diet and some lean meats and chicken or fish. No oils or very little amounts of oil added to your meals. Himalayan salt and iodine salt mixed together does not raise blood pressure. God bless!
You just lost me on supplemental. I’m 75 years and don’t take any medication for high cholesterol or blood pressure. Although my blood tests came back even better than a year ago they would like to put me on meds. My only issue is my blood pressure but I take supplements to maintain it at 122/78 or 120/ 75. I have a knee problem, I noticed when I’m in pain my blood pressure go up that’s why we keep on eyes on it. I don’t eats out, unless my child birthday which is special occasion. I cooked all my meals and only eat two meals daily, which everything is fresh non processed ingredients. The other thing I moved daily, walking 🚶♀️ two to ten miles daily every week unless my body is telling otherwise. My body sends me many’s messages that I incredibly I adapted for myself. Our health is our responsibility an wealth. I don’t used supplements from any drugs or big box stores, Most is above money not about the humans health.
Managing heart disease with medication? Here's what you need to know! 🩺 Your doctor might prescribe a combination of medications, each playing a key role in keeping your heart healthy. Beta-blockers help your heart beat with less strain, while ACE inhibitors can lower blood pressure. 💊 Statins reduce cholesterol, and blood thinners like aspirin can prevent clots. 🩸 Diuretics help reduce excess fluid to ease your heart's workload. 🌊 Follow your prescription schedule closely and never adjust doses without checking with your doc. 📅 Pair meds with a heart-healthy lifestyle for the best results: balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management. 🌿🏃♀
Don't trust the Medical industry other than diagnosis people. (Unless it's too late) Eat right, exercise regularly, drink plenty of water, and get rest, rest rest!
Dr. M…. You explain things clearly and have a pleasant speaking voice. I had a stent put in my heart 11 years ago. I take 5 meds. But, added 2 on my own. I eat a lot of milk chocolate candy. Maybe too much. Not bitter dark chocolate. Is chocolate good for me? Yes or No I do need to lose weight. Please respond. Thank you.🌱👳🏽♂️🩺
@kash6175 that is awesome. Yeah I've been eating really clean lately, plant base for sure beans, spinach, kale, raw pecans and almonds rolled oats meal etc. How much weight you lose?
Yes I dropped from 9,2 in December to 5,6 in April. Without meds serious fruit and vegetables diet totally cut out sugar, exercise and drinking enough water.
What about blood thinners like Elequist . What is your opinion on the Watchman? Doc wants me to use Watchman and then take me off of Elequist. Your thoughts???
I did not say that I recommend Himalayan salt over Celtic salt. The salt that I use is Himalayan and iodize salt combined together in a shaker. It doesn’t raise my blood pressure.
I have been taking Metorprolol for years. It has been the only one to help stop my migraines and keep my blood pressure down without any of the side effects like gum hyperplasia, which I experienced when taking Amplodipine. Great video.
Hi doctor In 2021 I had a heart attack, I was put on the life vest because injection fraction was 25 or lower. Now my injection fraction is 26 I think. May 30th 2023 I had a icd implanted. I take carvedilol , Entresto and Lovastatin and I exercise everyday. Plus I eat right Is there anything I can do to get that injection fraction back up?
Similar story. Had bad heart attack 2021. After 6 weeks discharged with an ef of 39. August 2023 back in hospital with ventricular tachycardia. Echocardiogram showed an ef of 26. Put in ICD and convinced me to take Entresto because it could increase ef. Sometimes maybe but not if a lot of your cardiomyocytes have become unfunctioning scar tissue. New echocardiogram two days ago. Present ef 25. I think the only thing that will work is stem cell therapy. If I can live long enough maybe that will happen. I’m feeling good and even back to work but I’m 76.
Read the book metabolic cardiology by dr stephen sinatra The awesome foursome supplements coq10 d-ribose l-carnitine magnesium. You could also add fish oil taurine. These will help strengthen your heart. But read the book. Good luck
I’m not a doctor! People who have heart disease or condition should stay away from all types of oils that includes olive oil. Because all oils including olive oil have saturated fats on them also which in time raises your bad cholesterol.
