Heart Ganache | Cooking with Cooking Mama! 

So Gametim was recently at a bank where a tragic event happened. You see Gametim was minding his own business waiting in line at the bank there to withdraw his money for rent when suddenly a man wearing a ski mask and holding a gun burst through the door demanding everybody get on the ground and so Gametim, decided not to be a hero and hit the dirt as well as the other people in line. The clerk hit a silent alarm and proceeded to stuff money into a bag the robber had tossed to her. Suddenly the police arrive just as the robber grabs the bag of money from the clerk. The police reach for their holsters to point their guns at the robber but something isn’t right. Their guns aren’t there, and for some strange reason strapped to their waists are Nintendo DS’. Absolutely bewildered the police think their numbers up as the robber pulls the trigger but the moment that he does he realizes the gun he was holding in his hand just moments ago is now a Nintendo DS. “What? What the hell is this?!” The robber shouts probably even more confused an alarmed than the police. Gametime who had suddenly realized he couldn’t just stand by when people were endangered no matter how scared he was and since gotten to his feet glared the robber in the eye and said “It’s cooking mama, you son of a bitch!” Before delivering a mighty punch to the masked mans face knocking him out cold and helping the still confused police detain him.

*puts heart ganache in fridge* Mama: *WOW! EVEN BETTER THAN MAMA!*

Did no-one else notice that his pot and bowl matched Mama's when he was melting the chocolate? Like, that's some dedication!

You know, when I was a kid I was super into food and cooking. Cooking Mama coming out helped support that, along with the cartoon Chowder coming a little bit later. But then with age came lost of time, a gain in stress and depression, along with paying attention to other things. Then I discovered this channel. My love for food and cooking has been reinvigorated, I've found opportunities to explore and cook for myself and that'll only grow more in due time. I have the same loving wonder I did as a kid. Thank you Tim! Thank you!

EVEN BETTER THAN MAMA

a good cookie bottom needs a bit of butter to get a nice coating on the bottom that holds it's shape... I feel that that was missing from the recipe. Ganache also makes fantastic truffles by the way! Just make ganache, pour onto a flat surface that's covered in some cling film (it will stick otherwise), chill, cut or shape into any form wanted and dust with cocoa powder or nesquik powder! For added flavor, add about half a tablespoon of rum, whiskey or bourbon in per 100 grams of chocolate used :)

a tiny bit of expresso powder (half a teaspoon or a teaspoon) mixed into the semi-sweet/dark choclate mix would have jazzed it up more. But this was a fun one to watch. And hey I learned ganache is kinda easy to make.

Where did you get those spring form pans? They are absolutely adorable!!

It helps even in a nonstick pan to rub a little bit of grease around the edges, and I would also suggest lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Also, a few tablespoons of melted butter might help hold that crust together a little better. That being said, this was a valliant effort and the final product looks great!

I think it would be cool to see you make chocolate cornets from Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic! That's one of my favorite desserts in both Cooking Mama, and real life! If you can't do Chocolate Cornets, can you make Sakura-Mochi from Cooking Mama: Let's Cook? That looks really yummy!
