from all the tutorials that i've watched about granny squares, by far yours is the easiest one to follow (i'm still a beginner with a bit of experience) and your voice is really relaxing. Thank you!!
If I use yarn with smaller weight, my squares will end up smaller, am I right? 🤔 Then I just have to do more squares to get the bag in similar size like yours? 🧐
I made a granny square than I thought what about a book cover so I crocheted book cover for my granddaughter she s so happy Thankyou so mush god bless you and your family love your work
Hi Vivian ! I'm a crochet beginner and i started crocheting thanks to your videos with such easy guiding ! But I'd be reallyyy happy if you make videos on how to do Sunflower granny square and Daisy granny square. I love how easy you've made it for beginners like me also your voice is so calming I'm in love ! Thank you sooo much !! Looking forward to more tutorials from you💞💞💞
This just blow my mind! Thank you for the very detailed, easy to follow way to make these granny squares! Great information for actually attaching the squares and including straps. Can't wait to try!
hey! ive been trying this heart granny square across multiple tutorials but every time its not working out. it comes out like a blob and somehow diagonal? if anyone know how i can fix this pls give me some advice😭
i was having the same issue; i just fluffed up a bit the two semi-circles on top and tying together the two hanging threads that you’re supposed to weave in (tying them on the back of the square). that gave much heart-y shape for me personally, hope this helps ❤
This is literally the easiest tutorial out theree!! I tried the other ones and messed up at one point or another but nothing as such happened with this and I made a bag with hot pink hearts and light pink in the background. Thankyou so muchh
hello! in my process of completing round 4 of the granny square (top of heart), it appears that i have more than 9 st to dc in, resulting in an uneven side. i’ve tried fixing this issue by skipping some st to reduce the amount of dc, but now there is a small gap where i didn’t dc. is there any way to fix this? if anyone or the creator has any feedback / advice it would be greatly appreciated
While making the heart, the first part is very good, but this part ( 3:41 ) does not work and remains unfinished. One side of the heart is very smooth, while the other side is missing. Can you help?
I was literally about to throw my crochet stuff out the window. I could NOT follow anyone else’s tutorial but this was beautifully made and so easy to follow!! I just made the most perfect bag as a gift for a friend! THANK YOU!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼💖
i have one quick question, since my squares are different colors, how do i stitch them all together without losing that chess-like vision? how should i stitch them so the slip stitches appear from the inside of the bag? thank you
Update: i finished the bag and it's beautiful! even though the squares are different colors (beige and white) i sew them together with white yarn and it turned out pretty nice!
hii Viv, i love this bag so much.. i wanna make one too but i don't have the yarn you used.. mine is smaller sized.. will you plzz tell me the size of your squares or the bag? 🥰
Thank you soooo much I made it really easily and it's the 1st time I make granny squares. I made it with blue and read heart and I alternated between each one. ❤❤Thank you ❤❤ (sorry if my English isn't perfect it's not my native language)
To anyone who already made the bag and tried it out is the strap thick? Cause I've made other tote bags and all of them stretch because of the weight I put it
I love your tutotial but i need help with something i wanna make granny squares without the heart inside but i want it to be the same size the tote bag i'm making should be (1 granny square with heart- granny square - 1 granny square with heart) and i'm struggling with making one in the same size
On my granny squares, the part where we did 2 tr, ch2, 2tr, or 2dc, ch2, 2dc, my granny squares have very big holes. I feel like if I put stuff in the bag, it’s gonna stretch out more and stuff is going to fall out. What did I do wrong?
hi! I really love your videos ❤ it's sooo easy to follow :)) btw, how many yarn did you use? I want to make this but I also want to estimate how many yarn I will buy :)) thank you in advance! (i hope u see my comment)
Watched many tutorials but yours was the easiest to follow, except it was a bit fast and i had pause many times but thanks a lot managed finish a bag.❤❤❤❤❤❤
hii, i tried making it and when i finished the heart it didn’t look like a heart and just ended up looking like a diamond, i have no idea if i’m doing anytbing wrong can someone help?? 😭😭
Took 3 days and finally finished!! Putting all the pieces together was a pain lol but it turned out so cute! Thanks for the tutorial , bags looked so intimidating to me and you made it so easy . I followed your heart granny square tutorial too ❤️
@@xsabafatima i used yarnart jeans plus . 1 full ball (100g) for 15 granny squares. and new ball took about half for other 3 squares and stitching all the pieces. i used different color for heart so that took almost half ball ig.
The bag does look beautiful. But it won’t last long. I would never spend $185 on it, it’ll be like throwing money away. All you could carry in it is your purse, perhaps a very light book and makeup. You can get a good leather bag for the same price!😮
Thanks for the feedback! I understand it’s out of budget for some people, but it would be a disservice to myself as well as other fiber artists to price it less than my time is worth. Besides, a lot of people, like me, do only carry a few things in my bag. And this tutorial gives you a way to make it yourself and pay with your own time if you want!
How do you know it wouldn't last long you haven't even tried it and also its made with cotton yarn which is better. Ofcourse its gonna be expensive its handmade and no one asked you to buy it so I dunno why you're complaining 💀💀💀
@@Shallyyarn I’m not complaining I’m stating in my opinion that as much as it’s handmade and creative it’s still not worth that amount. I understand the economics of time taken to make or craft something but that’s just business. Wheather you can sell something for your time to make a living out of. However, I’m not taking away her great creativity or anything he really good video. It’s like “ people dont want to pay that much for something when a little more money will get them the best of material and bang bucks for your money - leather. I think to make something like a bag out of cotton, wool etc, for profitability you’d have to consider a machine that would bang it out at little to no time and then you could sell it at a reasonable margin above time and cost! I didn’t mean to offend anyone cos it’s a nice bag - although hopefully lined! I can easily afford that bag as my usual purchases are £300 + when it comes to bags. But just couldn’t justify that amount for some cotton crochet. Some things no matter how much time is invested is still never going to balance out with costs because the consumer will weigh the cost and time taken. Tbh the time taken bares no resemblance on the cost except only to the maker. The consumer is just concerned with cost!!!!
