Ingenious idea! Well deserved because body mechanics us paramount when crocheting to prevent tendonitis repetitive stress injury. Crochet should relax not cause tensions.
Thank you so much! That throw is the Sangria Sorbet Blanket and can be found here on my blog: hearthookhome.com/sangria-sorbet-blanket-crochet-pattern/
@@HeartHookHome Thank you so much. I'm definitely going to make it somewhere in the future. Just have to finish some WIP's first. If I buy more yarn NOW, I not have a place to sleep. 😂😂 I'm so glad I found your channel (by accident). I'm now subscribed and will keep an eye on what you're doing.
Thank you for the great stretching and rest tips! I often have pain in my elbow and my right pinky (I use it when tensioning the yarn) after I crochet, so I'm eager to try your suggestions. I'm a new subscriber and I'm really impressed with your beautiful patterns. The car coasters are a great idea and so cute! It's nice to have a really quick project sometimes, too, just for the feeling of accomplishment. I just read this morning that boho car decor is becoming a really popular search on Etsy and Pinterest, so those coasters should sell well online and at craft sales.
How smart… using panty hose. I’m making a star pillow for a friends new baby due soon and I was worried about the polyfill coming out and being a hazard. 😊 thank you. Many Blessings
I’m already working on those coasters, so easy and fun. Thank you for that! My grandmother and the USAF ensured my posture, but Wowzers about your sister’s info on the exponential added weight of our heads with an inch of incline.
I have followed your blog for some time and enjoy it very much. I was very happy to discover your podcast. Can't wait to look at the first seven. You always have so much information and it's fun to learn new stuff. Thanks, I look forward to the next one. 😁
I am very short, just under 5' and the seat belt rubs on my neck. I need to get some of that Sherpa yarn and make a seat belt cover! The little cup coasters are adorable! A year ago I bought a neck massager with heat! Oh man, did that help work out the lactic acid build up in my neck and shoulder muscles! I also do the angel wing stretches, those help immensely! Thanks for another great podcast!
my daughter bought me a feeding chair a couple of years ago (she was 30 lol ) it is the most comfortable chair to sit and crochet in no more back or neck pain
Thank you for this. I got notification and watching it right away. Just so happens I have been achy from working to long on a blanket🤦♀️I am totally going to make a boppy from your pattern asap as I noticed I needed one it will definitely help👏❤️ and oh those stretches are already helping me😉 It's amazing the things we don't think about.
Excellent info! ♥️ I’m a therapist in a nursing home. 75% of the pain that geriatric patients experience is due to poor positioning! The way we sit is so important!
Thank you again. It's sunny Saturday morning here, and what can be better than having a cup of coffee and watching your podcast ; ) Super useful topic! I often find myself exactly in that slouchy position when crocheting 😁 Actually, the best place for me is my office chair which has arm rests, so I can lean back rests my arms and crochet almost comfortably.
The car coasters are a super neat idea. Told my husband about it and he has requested black n purple ones💙😀 What a great way to use my extra cotton yarn I better start on Christmas presents for the family cars and chair cup holders to😉👏
This pillow sounds like a great idea. Thank you for this idea. If you are should be I will say larger around the middle how would you adjust your pillow size? I don't see how to print this off to follow? I'm excited to try this. My elbow, wrist, THUMB, and my neck are big issues. Not to forget migraine headaches now too.
