Love the thumbnail and recording quality. Its nice to see the deaths at a higher quality. One thing though. Amazing Studio did not go bankrupt. They shifted industries and made 3D animated music videos up until about 2005 and as the specialists in animation went to larger studios over time they rebranded as Amazing Digital Studios and are a post production company for film. Eric left the company and it was run by it's other founder Frederic Savoir and looking up his work history online shows the other projects Amazing would go on to do film production for. It's a common misconception though because they left the game industry due to a lack of resources for indie devs at the turn of the millennia.
Hey, thank you! Very interesting. I think I got it from company page on Mobygames. It would be great if you could update this info there. Also nice avatar :)
These deaths aren't as scary when you learn this is all a dream. Since this is just in his imagination, he would not be feeling any real pain from any of these deaths and no true consequence of failure.
@@guts-141 If the developers say there is more to it then just being a dream, then I suppose. Till then though. Basically with any of these deaths though. The worst thing that could happen to him is he wakes up being scared, but he is not feeling any genuine pain either when these deaths happen.
I have a friend who has a mental disorder where she feels pain in dreams. Makes it hard to sleep, knowing that whatever adventure you're whisked away to could be just as dangerous and brutal as reality. Cognitively there's no difference between percieved pain, and real. If the activation center is activated, it doesn't really matter whether the impulse was nervous, or intracranial.
ManiaMediaMedium 2 minutes ago (edited) So pixelated and gory.... You know. For kids!... I like how they TRIED making it for kids with the story, characters, and all that (Seriously, humans was always nasty in 3D for this era... Oh dear. Would have paid off with just more of a cartoony look). Only to make it a violent platformer. A kid gets his neck broken, dangit.
ESRB office, 1998: Employee - "Boss, there's this Heart of Darkness game, and it's, um..." Boss - "Is there blood in it?" Employee - "No, there's no blood at all, but, uh..." Boss - ( *smashes game with an "E for Everyone" stamp* ) "NEXT!"
