In Mission 1, at the very beginning, when the computer asks you to select a drone, DO NOT do it. The computer will ask you for three times, leave the drone there. Then, the computer will check the grammar of her instruction and ask you to select the drone for another three times. Hold you position. Then, the interesting thing will happen: the computer will translate the human language into Zerg language!
At the very begining of mission 1 if you do nothing with the drone, Adjudant will say something like: "Subject doesn't understand directives. Translating in it's language" before mimicing zerg noises
solwen Also, if you build a structure and hit cancel on the build, Valarian will complain about it. It's kinda funny to make him mad randomly with the small things.
I just found a new Easter egg! It's a small one, but one nonetheless. On the final mission of char, if you destroy the final cannon with only banelings, a voice line will play where a Marines says "So, many, banelings." It's not a shout or anything like that, he just says it with fear
I actually did this accidentally when I am tired of my zerg just dying when heading straight for their doom. So I used banelings and guess what? Some marine screamed "So many banelings!"

Mico Fong There's the same reference the first time you got on coms with Mira Han in wings of liberty, death sentenced on 12 systems is written below her name

It could be about their size. Crawling around like little bugs. Hiding in holes in ground. Hard to notice. A troop of marines desperately tries to kill a larvae. It doesn't mean the thing is taugh. They just keep missing.
Actually though, Drones aren't any less effective: you just can't mob enemies like you can with Zerglings because drones are larger. Drones also have more health and move slightly faster off creep than Zerglings without metabolitic boost.
Mark Luis Legaspi also zerglings attack twice as fast as drones (I don't know the exact numbers but whatever). So if we say that the extra drone speed is about as good as the reduced zergling size (both of them let you surround faster) then zerglings are 4X more efficient at attacking as drones.
You missed the one in the mutalisk evolution mission. There’s a sign that says Earth is 21 billion miles away. Also, if you spam move command in Lab Rat while under Valerian's window, Kerrigan makes a snide remark. Notice that Raynor always moves to stand behind Kerrigan when she turns before that second easter egg, anyone?
Funny thing is, Protoss don't need to eat. Not food, anyway. They are nourished by light exclusively. Some kinda weirdo photosynthesis or something. SMH, aliens 👽...
Those Dehaka ones are really cool. It means that he's been evaluating you during your missions and didn't just "show up". He's been seeing if you're worthy of learning about, stalking, and eventually (presumably) inheriting from. I also hope that the Dehaka's left arm is a reference to the writ's leg from Diablo. [For some reason I keep thinking of it as his right leg, so diagonally across would be the left arm. However, an exhaustive (read, cursory) internet search reveals no specific handedness (footedness?) attributed to the leg.]
They should seriously add Dehaka to be a warrior type in Heroes of the Storm There are too many assassins from that series on it and Tassadar barely counts as support

Are they going to add Minks or whats he called to sit in base and send his soldiers to do his dirty work?

There was a humorous one when Matt's on his "date" with Mira. One of the possible quotes for low health has her yelling "Matthew! Don't die! Surrender!"
I thought it is Mira who have death sentence 12 system. There was another easter egg (or just unique dialogue) when you go out to destroy Warfield's last base on Char and when you reach the defense-system which you must destroy with a swarm of banelings, a marine complains that "there's just too many banelings".
No, they absorp solar energy, their skin is like solar panels. Thats all the need to live. Dark templars don't need it to live but when the protoss took shelter on their homeworld they ahd to indroduce a star. Hope that helped.
Here's a new one for you: Old Soldiers: Try massing banelings as you close in on the Tactical Operations Center. (I don't know exactly how many, just a LOT)
Furthermore: I heard that in "Lab Rat" if you send any zergling(s) towards/under the observation deck that Valerian is in, Kerrigan will say something about it.
i dont know how he missed but in the last mission (or void to korhal coop mission idr) there was another car that when you destroy he comes again and says why is this always happens to me...

Even pre-LotV, Kerrigan wins easily. Kerrigan controls entire star systems and can level cities with her mind. The Lich King at his peak controlled 1 continent. Kerrigan and the Zerg could destroy all of Northred from space. Kerrigan and her Leviathan could probably take on the Lich King and the entirety of the scourge alone.
+TheWilbon The Lich King can control the dead though, which would probably be his winning advantage. Kill a few scores of zerg, reanimate them, then throw them at the rest and continue the process, and LK could easily match if not overpower Kerrigan. Makes me curious to see what kind of effect The Plague would have on The Zerg.
+superwowman100 but what if Kerrigan just infests the undead and controls the dead zerg, they are still zerg and as Abathur has shown he can reconstitute zerg, if they couldnt bring them back into the swarm. Killing the zerg wouldnt matter since Kerrigan could easily gain control again.
In the mission to retrieve Col. Orlan from Mira Han to save Jim Raynor, you use use stations to build automated wraiths, when zoomed in they are the models from the first Starcraft game along with its perspective towards the starcraft 1 cuscene involving the same type of wraith blowing up a satellite.
there is another easter egg i recently discovered, in the mission where you command the hyperion, and in think either hte second or first mineral nulks, you can find what looks to be a warcraft helicopter, it has an open cockpit, two cynlinder engines with propellers, now it has starcraft textures but its there floating around
There is another easter egg and that is on the map "Into The Void" (technically LotV) and it is near the corner next to the Zerg base. Also in the bottom right corner if you prefer that kind of direction. You can also use the Cheat Code "tooktheredpill" (Took The Red Pill) to see the entire map.
Damn, imagine if Kerrigan picked up Frostmourne/put on the Lich King's armour. Lich Queen of the Swarm. Also imagine if the Swarm got a hold of Diablo... I feel like he'd be immune to infestation.. but if they did manage to get some of his "essence"... the Zerg would be even more absolutely horrifying.
One more thing. Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty when Jim and crew arrive at Deadman's Port. On the transmission with Mira (Horner) Han there were the following words. Mira Han Mercenary Leader Death Sentence in 12 Systems That came to my mind now when I saw that dude in prison that had the same sentence.
I think the Labrat one will appear nore often for total newbies who picked up HotS as their very first SC game, so all they would do is morph an army of drones and send them out. Speaking from experience, all I did for SC1 for my first Zerg campaign mission was morph drones..... yea.
There was another quote from valerian if you cancelled the hatchery I think. Or something about the first buildings, or cancelling the first egg, something like that
