Jim Kerr to Ann: "You do know that you are one of the greatest rock stars to have ever lived". Wow--I couldn't have put it better. I could have kissed him!
Ann is sooooooo damn down to earth and humble. She just says thank you to the biggest compliment a rock singer could ever have and seems very honored and grateful for the interviewer's words.
This interview is amazing, so real, so raw. To see Ann Wilson stunned!!!! Apparently she has no idea who she is and how incredible her talent. Im younger than her, and she paved the way for more things than just singing. The fact that she speaks whats on her mind. And no female rocker has come close.
Just saw Heart play tonight. 2nd show of their '12 summer tour. My first show was in '78, and they still put on an amazing powerhouse show. Just fantastic.
I love both of these women so much...I have to be the greatest fan! I have most of the albums and always in search...You both have inspired me and when I am famous, I will still give you both my humble appreciation. Peace, love, and light always.
I found a piece of sheet music for barracuda so I looked them up and its amaizing, So we play it know in our line up...my lead guitarist knew of them and didnt believe me...we had 2 sisters from the same period called Cheeta and they were singing heart songs...cheers fr australia.
This reminds me of when they would have pre release album interviews back n the day & all of us HEART fans would sit around the radio & listen 2 Rockline or Off the Record as we'd listen 2 our Rock idols voices inside the speakers up close and wonder what it would be like 2 know them. I've met them both several times since those days and I can honestly tell you Im a better person for it as they have influenced my life in such a positive way...even they dont realize it. I will Always love them!
@schuraper First time here in Las Vegas on the Heart / Heart tour in 1987 at the hotel they were staying at and got to have their limmozine follow my car to my friend's nightclub called Calamity Janes as the Smithereens were playing there and they asked me if I knew how to get there! I told them that the owner was a friend of mine and Id be happy to esscort them. Met them again after that at a few meet n greets after a couple of Hard Rock Hotel gigs they did...one with The Lovemongers!
when was this? awwww gosh i love seeing them again...hope they come here in pechanga resort casino california to perform ...i love ann and nancy's voice its so original
In the San Francisco Bay Area we are lacking an intelligent hard rock station such as this. We do have a fabulous station, KFOG, which plays a wide range of rock in various formats. However, not one of the so-called "Classic Rock" stations has this intelligence in its on-air presentation, nor can any of them move past AC/DC, Van Halen, Boston, and all the testosterone bands. I'd personally finance Jim Kerr's relocation to the stunningly beautiful Bay Area!
This DJ is awesome. And I agree: How the hell do they look so damn good after all these years? Why don't they have a "Keith Richards" look???? And, again, this DJ is really, really cool. He is conducting this interview as if he is as much a fan as we all are.
Lady night owl read her bio and you will see why, she suffers with a stutter, so maybe she does not like talking so much as she is concious of it, at the end of the day it is about the voice and the music to have been in the music business and having hit records over 4 decades says something, dont judge a bok by its cover so to speak
@Athiestnova Anyone who bought the broken down, out of gas, need to be towed to the shop, “Red velvet car” would be hostile-- they got swindled out of $10 by these two jowly, cows!
