The most heartbreaking part is that these aren't even trained soldiers; they are ordinary people, everyday citizens with little to no military training, who have bravely taken a one-way ticket away from their families and homes. They know that 8 out of 10 of them won’t return, and they've fully accepted this harsh reality. Unlike the Russian soldiers, who are often forced into battle, these men and women of Ukraine have chosen this path willingly, not due to state pressure.
