I think you are overlooking the fact that it includes three meals a day for all members of your family, horseback riding, fishing and other activities. Compared to staying in a hotel and feeding the family three times a day and paying for all your activities, this is an exceptional bargain.

@@HorseTVGlobal I don't travel with a family, just myself, alone and I believe it said for two people it was $210 , is the rest of the family free ? I realize most of these resorts are for rich folks, not the average family on a budget. I do love that part of the country, used to go to the Tetons every summer, on vacation, took about $2,000 dollars with me and usually had plenty left over, when I got back home. Did a lot of rafting in the park and below Jackson in the white water, with my own raft.

@@bb1040 I can honestly say, that of the 60+ guest ranches we have had the privilege to film, I can think of only one whose guests that week might be described as "rich folks." Every other ranch were just average people who had jobs at home and wanted to experience a special week at a guest ranch with their family, and I don't think we've ever met a guest who didn't think it was an exceptional value, given that all meals, activities, and everything else, are included. And most ranches enjoy a 70% or higher, repeat guest rate. We've met people who have been to the same ranch 30 times in their life, so there is obviously something there that they find of value. Guests who came as children, now bring their kids to show them where they spent their vacation as kids. And bear in mind, most ranches have a 4-5 month business season to make it or break it, but they have to maintain a herd of horses and facilities year round. It's a difficult business that are operated by owners who are passionate about sharing their lives, and lifestyles with their guests. Anybody can find anyway to do something cheaper, but we haven't met anyone who didn't feel it was an exceptional value for their vacation.

@@HorseTVGlobal When I first started coming up there, I would talk to the old ranchers there, they said they could make more off of the dudes than they did off the stock, of course most of them are probably gone now and their kids or new owners have taken over, because that was back in the 80s, and I would bet your paycheck is at least 4 times what I was making back then and I am retired now. I watch the live video feeds from HEART SIX RANCH , get to see the horse drive every morning and some of the people, still a little early in the season, it does look like fun, but considering the cost of getting there now and the $1,470 for the week's stay, by the way that $1,470 is a few hundred dollars more than I have to live on for the entire month. I know for people these days who can afford it, it is a great deal and much fun. I am stuck with just enjoying the live video feeds now, By the way do you know of any other dude ranches around there that have live video streaming cameras, I would enjoy seeing > Thank you Sorry I live alone and maybe talk to much, nice to know there are other people out there enjoying that great area.

You are correct Bruce in that we don't have any involvement with the webcams. May I suggest you contact the ranch directly, they may not even be aware there is a problem, but would appreciate you bringing it to their attention. It most certainly is a beautiful area.

I used to go to the Tetons every summer for many years on vacation, I loved the area, Unfortunately I am getting up there in years now and can no longer travel like that. But am still watching all the Jackson Hole live videos I can find., On four 24" computer screens. LOL

I did contact Heart 6 Ranch and they said ( I will check it out this week. Must be a programming issue ) Maybe they will get it fixed. Thank you for the sugestion.

Guest Ranches often change hands and with new owners and managers the personality of a given ranch may change.
