Be thankful for your relationship with your dad. I wish me and my dad were that close, even when I was younger. Maybe I wouldn't have been as lost as I was when I was younger and searching for happiness in all the wrong places.
I came straight to the comment section just to see if anyone found and shared their info on the Jacob's Pharmacy bottle?? The rares that ya'll dug out are phenomenal finds guys, excellent dig there!!! A Jasper Alabama soda 😮👍👍👍 And that intact amazing jug 😲
hobbies re unite old friendships all the time! especially when you find things that started it all! great video, and great finds! way to go Brandon! that was a great find the old jug!
That last bottle that was found sounds pretty interesting. I learn something new today as it being the first drug store to sell Coke Cola. Hope you’ll share any info on it. My heart skipped a beat when you pulled out that jug. That was so cool! I like jugs n to see that one had been stamped was even better. Braden, have a question. Had to dig a trench on my yard yesterday as pipe burst n had to be replaced. The guys found a soda bottle about 2ft. down. It says NEHI Beverage 9 fluid ounces on the bottom says Design Pat D March 3 25 also Columbus Ga. would that date be 1925? It’s a clear thick bottle. I do remember NEHI . Rather it’s worth Diddly squat it still means something to me. I was so excited my first bottle. Great video today. Love when you find cool bottles. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟
You are right about that rush when you're pulling old glass out of a hole! Here in KS it's pushing 100° and the rivers are up for the first time in awhile. Hopefully they'll wash out some new bottles.
I dug two Jacob's Pharmacy bottles in one site. One is Alabama and the other is Atlanta. Shaped different but still clearly embossed. Grear find on the amazing jug!
Does your Dad's old partner dig in Washington State and if they do do they have a RU-vid channel of them digging? I'm in Washington State myself and would love to follow them.❤
Always loved finding the Dundee marmalade jars. I love the crazing also. Have you ever found, Cherry toothpaste. Patronized by the Queen? Those are nice also. Wish I could insert a picture. Take care. 😊
Here is some info on the "Jacob's pharmacy " bottle ......it was made out of glass years ago by humans and had a product stored in it.......happy to help......😂😂 great video Sir
I own an old farm that had a trading post on it in the 1800s. Its got an old cistern and you can tell where the old outhouse used to be. Ive wanted to did them both out for years. I may have to do it before i die😅
I still have a keasbey & mattison blue bottle I found in the original city dump (closed in early 60's)St.Helens Or. in the mid 90's.. sadly, soon after they hauled in clay overburden from a nearby rock pit, and built houses on it. I die inside every time I watch a bottle video. At least I got a few bottles 💧
Where is the Lady of the House ? Are you washing the dishes, laundry, the garden tip top ? And.... the beard is getting Lincoln size by now, she better be OK with that my Alabama far away friend ;-) Stay safe, be blessed !! Greets from Europe !
I love you guys you all must be dyslexic you can't spell any better than me haha thank you for the Dig I can't do it no more but I dug on my life ex-wife get on my bottles sold them in a yard sale what the hell
The Fly Dope jar you found without a lid...they wouldn't have kept the lid as the liquid and jar was meant to screw onto a metal atomizer with pump action and it was used to spray bugs inside. It was toxic.
There is nothing like pulling out an advertised jug. It's a rare occurrence for sure. I have found maybe seven or eight in 40 years of digging so I know how rare they are to find. I have a feeling that Augsburger is a rare post 1906, Pat druggist bottle. I bet there are very few out there. Helps that is has a direct connection to Coca-Cola!
So, Keasbey & Mattison were an American ASBESTOS company that stayed in business until the late 1940s. It was purchased by a British company in 1934. Wonder if that bottle has any asbestos in it.
I don't understand why people would throwaway perfectly intact jugs like that. Even back then when they were more common, it just seems people would keep them.
Nothing like trying to figure out what something looks like when it's covered in mud. How hard would it be to have a bucket of water right there to rinse them off try to just rubbing them with money gloves the way you are cuz that doesn't do a thing but move the mud around
