Honestly: GOALS, so inspirational! i've got a decent collection myself, but i've got a way to go in the skill department on many of them. Strings: soprano ukulele tenor ukulele acoustic guitar (also Alvarez!) electric guitar electric bass mandolin (in need of repair) violin double bass (named Old Tom and my current favorite to play!) Winds: ocarina (cheaply built and out of tune, bummer) soprano recorder Tin whistle in D harmonicas in G and C flute Eb clarinet (in desperate need of a tune-up) Bb clarinet (my first instrument! i was lucky to start on a Buffet B12 and quickly fell in love) C melody sax Brass: two trumpets french horn in Bb trombone Percussion/Other: tambourine maracas Casio keyboard (from the late 80's--the samples are... artistic, we'll say) Yamaha keyboard (from this century!) glockenspiel random items i've fashioned into percussive instruments my dream instrument is the bass clarinet though. i played it in middle and high school and became enamored with its warm, rich, earthy tone. some day i will own one of my own!
the amount of dedication it takes to not only learn how to play but how much money it took to get the instruments thanks instrument maniac@@InstrumentManiac
Sometimes life is strange. Before your cover I had no idea who Kim Petras is and now I learned that she grew up only a few miles away from my hometown. Still your cover is the better version 😉. And your love and dedication for music incredible.
Instruments I have in my collection at this time: Woodwinds: - Flute - Oboe - Bb clarinet - Bass clarinet - Alto saxophone - Tenor saxophone Brass: - Bb trumpet & Cornet - French horn - Trombone (my primary instrument) - Euphonium - Tuba And a percussion kit (Includes: drum pad, glockenspiel, sticks, mallets, & a stand) Plus a soprano recorder flute Miss instruments: Woodwinds: - Bassoon - Baritone saxophone Other instruments I plan & hope to get sometime soon or later in the near future: - piano (upright) - bass guitar (substitute for double bass) - Drum kit That’s all I have folks Thank you!! 😀.
People think I'm insane because I play clarinet and tenor sax and I got excited when I found a flute for 20 bucks at a yard sale. Those people (and me) have to stand back in awe of your collection. Props to you!📯🎸🎹🎺🎻🪕🥁🪘🎉
ahhh I'm so glad you finally got some brass in your videos 😂😂 I'm super jealous of your collection, all I've got so far is a Bb, an alto, and a bass clarinet, a trumpet, a piano, a uke, a drum pad and an ocarina. my favorite from your collection has to be bass clarinet (you might say I'm a bit biased 😂)
Haha FINALLY after like 13 or so years 😂 Wow that's a really diverse collection you have going on there! Clarinet family is such an awesome thing to record with so props on completing it ^_^
I only play Kalimba and Steel Tongue Drum and started with harp this summer. One day I want to buy a handpan too. Finding enough time to play these few instruments is already challenging, I can´t even imagine how much work and time you must had put into all these instruments! That´s some serious dedication there, I am in awe!
My 9yo loves this vid. He probably has contributed to lots of the views! He is obsessed with musical instruments. Can you please answer his Qs…how old were you when you got your first instrument and what was it? Do you own all 69 instruments? How did you manage to get them all? Cheers, Jase & Jason Jnr
Aw glad to hear! I was 10 when I started on flute - own 90 instruments - been collecting for 20 years. A lot of the questions I get are covered in this videos 😄 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NxcCFuvaQaU.html
Thanks bud! Actually got it for a super reduced price on craigslist cuz the guy was leaving town otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford it at all 😆 Also 69 is the best number 😎
This is only the second time in my life that I have heard multiple C melody saxophones playing in harmony, and I've been playing the saxophone for 43 years (and the C melody for 25).
I loved this. I've read the comments and your followers have huge collections. Personally I have - baritone uke (plywood, of course) - tenor/alto/soprano/sopranino plastic recorders from yamaha - Bflat/C/2 D and 1 lowD tin whistles - two octave ocarina - a two and a half toy keyboard I use for to tune my main instrument, because, yes, I have one I can actually use. The ones above I could not play decently to save my life. But I'm a baritone and I can actually carry a tune. I can even do some easy coloratura. Yes, I needed to boast a little: you are amazingly gifted and it seems your followers are as well ;) P.S. recently I kind of like the soprano sax. I like the sound, it feels a little tart which only adds to the charm. But I love essentially all of them. My long-time crush is with the cello.
1:35 #52 the toy piano is my fav!! 😜 Your neighbors won’t report you, they’ll ask for more!!! Who needs Spotify or radio when they can listen to their maniac neighbor’s quality tunes?! I was going to ask where do find space to store all those instruments, but now I’m hyped for your home tour!!! By the way, your passion for those instruments flow through your videos and fill my heart with joy. You’re AMAZING, Luke! Thanks!
Ahh Sativum thank you for being such a genuine and kind supporter I really appreciate it! Yes the home tour will reveal how the heck I cram them all into 700 sq feet 😂
I look forward to this every year , it is amazing you play so many instruments (really well) that you also find time to do Silks and lifting . My claim to fame , I got my shoes on the correct feet ...... today lol
I love the wind chimes and the cowbell and all of this great video!😁 (This is the AWF = applause without feedback or applause which doesn't expect feedback... it is my own new term for comment to safe more your free time 😉) Greetings neighbors 😂
Ahh Illona I enjoy reading your comments and enjoy responding as well! Thank you for watching ^_^ I think my neighbors were less excited about this video 😂
Awesome collection man congratulations on the new Double bass and also my favorites are all the brass and woodwind instruments that you’ve got and the complete string family of orchestral instruments you know the 4 sizes of violins plus all wind instruments as well Flute Piccolo Clarinets and bass clarinets Saxophones Cornet and French horn And let me know if you plain on getting any more of the brass instruments like the trombone cause that’s my main and I eve got a collection of my own mostly brass and woodwinds plus a little percussion as well and plan on getting more soon in the future but any ways I love your video and good job at getting it to 69 instruments that’s awesome you gained like 15 new instruments to your personal I remember now from. Your last count that’s great! Only one shy to match the perfect # 70! 👍
WOWW!! This is pretty amazing! I just want to make a polite suggestion - I think you should get a Low C bass, there a plenty of cheap ones such as Kessler in Las Vegas!
Homie G, I hate to burst your bubble, but you alto sax and Tenor sax were swtich, you had the alto name with the tenor sax, and the tenor name with the alto sax!!!
