A lot of us women are doing the work… healing and understanding where we’re at mentally,emotionally, physically and spiritually. Also socially. It feels great to know that it’s not just myself that’s healing and understanding myself and my life. Pouring more into myself again all around the board. ❤️🙏🏽

When we take the time to learn and get to know ourselves, it becomes a relationship of love and committment because we begin to invest in ourselves and that allows us to be the best WE can be. Anything else can result in us settling and how can we expect someone to take us seriously or treat us the way we desire when WE are not taking our own selves seriously and devoting the time WE need to recognize our own worth. Self love encompasses so many things...

Pray to God to see yourself the way he sees you (for insecurities) I did the same thing wake up and put makeup on if I’m around men abs wasn’t secure. I used to looked myself in the mirror crying or walk away. I prayed that prayer and I started to see myself glow. I stared loving my scars. I started loving my skin. Once you start loving and embrace yourself the insecurities starts to fall off. ❤

This was such an amazing episode! I can totally relate to Dinorah having an emotionally absent father. For years I thought my picker was broken too. Going to therapy helped me identity my daddy issues and why I always dated emotional unavailable men. I'm preparing myself to date intentionally becausemarriage is the goal. I loved how Dinorah said she just wants to be safe and soft in a relationship. I really want that in the future! ❤❤

Goodness ladies, this is such a wonderful episode! Dinorah, as an Afro-Latina, I can completely understand your story and journey. I too was steadfast on establishing a career and also viewed as "rigid" and even "intimidating" when it came to the fellas. But what I learned (like you) is that I too have to nurture my inner child and give her the childhood she never had. So, take little Dinorah on play dates, do silly fun things, and allow yourself the joy of play. So many POC in this society are stripped away from a healthy childhood experience. It's nonexistent because we come out the womb in survival mode and are unfamiliar with what it's like to be free, imaginative, and jovial. So, ladies, try to find some joy in the silliness of play. You are both blessings to us all!❤

Omgggggg… God I know You’re talking to me!!! 😭 I’ve ALWAYS known that I’ve been called to be a full time entrepreneur business woman. I keep watching the years go by and I’m at the edge of jumping off the cliff of faith and I keep questioning should I jump? Everyday I’m asking God to make it clear to me. A message that I heard at church on Sunday, and all these sermons and now podcast that keep popping up on my RU-vid timeline is giving me inclinations that God is saying yes BUT, I don’t know what to do when I jump. All I know is to pray, fast, worship and hope that I don’t fall flat on my face.

I have been working since I was 14, I never experienced love, well let me say this I felt love for my daughters father but I walked away to easy, he had, issues I had issues, I ran the relationship and that just wasn’t good. I need rest, I need a place to just lay my head, my back rubbed my thoughts heard and just loved. I want stability and just happiness, I am 52 I need to be the woman, I don’t want to rule or push over anyone, I want us to be partners and meet in the middle.
