A series about the lives and adventures of the police, medical staff, and residents of Ashfordly and Aidensfield. Starring William Simons, Derek Fowlds, Tricia Penrose and Mark Jordon. Michael Jayston plays Gerald Hudson.
A great series and thoroughly enjoy all the episodes. Just wonder why the writers don't get more advice when it comes to motor vehicles . The car being repaired at the garage had a steering box & idler arrangement, MGBs had rack and pinion steering (nothing to adjust) . Sorry, I have always been pedantic.
Hi Jayston Site, I'm praying that you'll upload more "Heartbeat" in the near future, oh yes I too was bullied at school, those that aern't run-the-mill children always are, ah and for those that are wondering "Lolipop" was sung by "The Mudlarks"
Does anyone know why the outside of the police station suddenly changed its appearance from around series 11?. The earlier series station was filmed at Otley Courthouse and the car park was open and the entrance to the office was in a corner with the courts on the far right, but suddenly from about series 11 or maybe abit later the outside looks completely different where there is now blue gates at the front. Then from series 16 it appears the they changed locations again as the building looks different. It don't think that on-screen they moved premises as the office and the sgt's office looks exactly the same as it's always been, so it must mean the production decided to or had to find somewhere else to film the exterior scenes. Anyone know why?. Also I've noticed that after Vernon had left Aidensfield (where did he go?) that we no longer see the front of the house except the rear which is clearly not the same house. Anyone know why they stopped showing the front?. Did the owner of the house decide he didn't want them to film there anymore?.
Wasn't DDT used in fly sprays? I think the pesky flies were less of a hazard than the chemicals used in those days...ah , but was a grand life lad. Miss those days.
