Trying to become a bigger series, and be seen as more legit, but then let a farce of an ending, and a disqualification worthy start happen, really shows where DTM actually lies (in the pockets of the manufacturer's). Liam showed his skill, Alex had a solid season, and Nick made a great 3rd driver.

I honestly can't believe that VDL wasn't DSQ for his actions. This whole team deserved both championships and it's so sad that it was stolen by one stupid action. Thanks for the videos all year, the whole team is full of great characters and I hope we get to see a season 2! Thanks for all the efforts in these videos!

Feel so bad for Lawson, I was absolutely raging when I saw that Race 2 incident, he deserved that title 100%. Great work by AF Corse and Red Bull to get the teams' title, but I'd imagine that's little consolation for Lawson Also great work from Cassidy to come into the team and perform well like that, love his personality too. Keep up the great work guys 💪

The DTM lost a lifelong fan in me, with the way this finale was handled. Why would I spend a single minute following this championship if I know at the end the results are manipulated and drivers can just ram into their oponent (twice in a row) and take them out of the race with little or no consecuences?

Well done Liam and Nick. You did NZ proud. Lucas Auer also acknowledged his 15 seconds lead there. No more DTM for me.

Liam is the champion as far as I am concerned. What KVL did was a dog act & disgraceful. He should of been disqualified & had at least 50 points deducted. Why is this guy only in Formula E? He was absolutely the driver of the race! If he drives next year for the whole season, he will be a contender for sure

For all the angles I've seen, the best reasoning I can come up with that fits with the evidence is that KVDL intentionally hit Liam. It's an absolute disgrace that he didn't get suitably punished.

Congratulations guys on the team championship. Thanks for all the behind the scenes over the season, we as fans loved seeing how Alex, Liam and Nick interacted with the team and what they do on a race weekend. Hope if you do compete next year everyone has the same enjoyment and fun as this season. Whisking Nick the best in formula E next season and Liam in his remaining formula 2 races this year.

KVL just doesn't know what shame is and he absolutely disgusts me, especially from this video - so many conversations with him before the race and he just kept divebombing anyway? If that's not deliberate then I don't know what is. And btw no matter if it's intended or not, that podium shot of Liam with 1st and champion texts as background is great visual language. DTM is a joke but you guys did such an amazing job, have been enjoying every second of these vlogs. I followed because of Alex but now I'm a big fan of all of you. Thanks for the season!

Had to turn my computer off when I saw that turn one incident. I was so gutted for Liam, I couldn’t even continue watching. At least I missed the farce of an ending. Liam is amazing and he’s still so young, he’ll do amazing in the future I’m sure. We all know he deserved that win, and he’ll get it another time.

What a joke was this weekend, from the drivers, to the manufacturers passing by the stewards. Clearly they didn't like to see a non german car and driver winning DTM.

For a rookie, Nick did an amazing job. Vander Linde should have been disqualified from the championship for his attitude. 2 races, 2 crashes at the same corner against the same car where there was absolutely no space at all to pass. Very dirty driver, and I cannot understand how DTM didn't take things seriously after Van der Linde's attitude after the first race. They should've given him a serious warning to exclude him from the championship or something. Not the first time he has done it this season

In my opinion, van der Linde should be permanently disqualified in the DTM and all other GT3 events. It is not the first time that he has acted like that and something like that does not belong in motorsport. He should start boxing if he likes contact sports.

Since first race of this season I watched the DTM because of two things. First is Tourenwagen Legenden and the second is Liam Lawson... I watched whole season, was cheering both Liam and Ferrari with their first full season. It wasn't every time by the way we all wanted but if you are a fan, you are there for all ups and downs. But... The last race was a nightmare... Lap 18 Goetz pits Lap 26 Auer pits Lap 37 Goetz's racing engineer says that he must to get closer, Goetz says that this is impossible, gao to Auer -9 sec Lap 58 gap Goetz to Auer is 14 sec. Lap 62 Ellis gives up the position to Goetz, gap to Auer -7.67 Lap 63 gap to Auer -4.68 Lap 64 Goetz gets pass on Auer Lap 68 at the finish line Auer is miraculously keeping with Goetz with just -0.86 sec lost. Couple laps earlier he was losing up to 4 sec per lap!! This is shameless, dirtiest, awfull, disrespectable, and unsporty thing that I've ever saw. Worse than F1 Belgian GP, the one, that never happened and an 1990 DTM Hockenheim finale when Schumacher, being only guest driver, torpedoed Johnny Cecotto, championship leader with 18 points advantage (Liam had 19 points advantage)... DTM Shame on you... Gerhard Berger shame!! I'm glad about the decision to take out Liam from DTM and this farce... You deserve for better league than this... I'm looking forward to any decisions. LIAM, HEAD UP! For us YOU are THE CHAMPION ANYWAY!! The REAL!!

In sailing, and I think it should be in every sport, you have something called redress. If a contender gets taken out through no fault of there own and without the possibility to avoid a collision a score will be added based on the average amount of points scored throughout the season. This would have been one of those situations.

It was hard to see what KVL did, the first thing to pop up in my mind was some words that an Aussie told to a Italian guy a few years ago "Obviasly your ambition outweighed your talent" (just take the words, not the context of what that words were in if you know what Im talking about). Brilliant season Lawson had, hope he goes well wherever he goes!

I like lawson but I have to back my fellow South African VDL. Yeah he wasn't the favourite and made some questionable decisions but at the end of the day that's racing and you have to just accept it. Honestly, most of the hate VDL is getting is unreasonable, and because most people just like Lawson's personality more they support him blindly and throw unnecessary hate the way of VDL.

Cannot believe for VDL. That was not a reason from VDL and that was not the way to fight for the championship. Where is the sportsmanship!?

Red Bull AlphaTauri AF Corse has Done everything right the whole season Including fair sportsmanship unlike the obvious constructors/manufacture's and I won't lower Myself to their Lvl by naming them. and because of that fact, DTM allowed the race to be RIGGed Watching this video for me was really hard as I'm guessing it was for all the fans that watched it already knowing the outcome GO KIWI ( Liam and Nick "Kia Kaha" Brothers) and thank you so much to Red Bull AlphaTauri AF Corse you have my utmost respect.
