Sure, but there's a difference between a deck doing an insane thing that it is consistently able to do and a deck randomly doing an insane thing. There is no real RNG involved in shuffling a ton of primes here, it's just a thing that happens once you find all the pieces for it. Two copies of Alex were discovered by the priest though which is very unlikely to happen (one of which by a dragon that also didn't even start in their deck) and it's worth noting that their thoughsteal also hit exactly two primes when there weren't that many in the deck yet. Plus they were even given a five turn handicap at the start of the game, although that doesn't mean much in a control mirror. Obviously just a joke but it's still worth pointing out that even those this game was bonkers on both sides only one of the players was actually getting outrageously lucky.

@@philiphochendoner2540 yeah I knew it was a hot minute. This is the first video kibler has posted since the January 28th nerf of hysteria where it was actually post nerf so I'm assuming it was on that day

It can be a bear, for sure. I like playing against it, since I play questlock with Tickatus, Felosophy and Y’Shaarj. Just gotta burn away their combo before they get rolling.

Because tickatus is such an annoying card at the essence. It completely revolves around ruining your opponent’s gameplay, which in this case, would ruin this deck completely most likely. That’s why every single control/combo deck hates that card

He probably got so flustered by losing to infinite prime warlock after skipping 5 turns that he forgot about it

@@elaifresh7 It's pretty mad that they couldn't take more advantage of all those free turns, being able to redraw Broodmothers is such a good fallback after a weak, or in this case non existent, early game

I think this is one of those moments when a player learns a lesson they will never forget. ...also, that Deathwing wasn't reduced in cost, so I guess they run it in their deck? I'm assuming they've stopped doing that now...

I have the legendary but havent ever used it, so how should it be used? Obviously not like this lmao

@@AppCandy Mindrender Illucia is primarily useful in countering combo decks, giving you the opportunity to rip away a couple of crucial pieces (if they're in hand). She can also be decent if you can quickly empty your hand or if you play her early enough that the opponent can't play any of the cards in your hand. There are also a lot of other situations she can help out in, but always remember to not give your opponent the chance to screw you over. As a general rule, she takes a lot of practice to understand when to play if you want optimal results in the majority of games.

It's similar with Elistra the immortal in BG. "Oh, there's a 6 star unit, better pick it," *makes it so my units whiff on your biggest one 4 times, keeping them alive*

@@AppCandy general rule of thumb with this particular legendary... If you have good cards in your hand DO NOT PLAY THIS no matter what

Favorite part of the video, game bugged out so hard Kibler just sees the random cardback cardback and not whatever it swapped to.

I think it was probably randomly generated and not in his original deck.

Generally. You can still lose to the DH Combo/OTK decks if you don’t draw Tickatus early enough or get unlucky on the card burns.

Plague of death doesn't stop resurrect effects, the demon is still destroyed even if it was silenced
