Lion had 72 damage on her combo. Cassie would be rolling the dice that he'd get multiple +7 armor turns. Most of the boom powers wouldn't have mattered in the matchup

She was topdecking so hard in game 1, got PERFECT hand game 2, almost perfect hand game 3, then game 4 got so much advantage with that early nourish and starting 2nd + finding cenarius from worthy expedition. And game 5, when all Casie needed was hakkar, he can't get it. Weapons project + Harrison Jones was better play than Dr Boom that turn because if it found him Hakkar, he would've just won the game. However, despite all my love for Casie, it is a fact that he went for RNG play rather than safer play which was Dr Boom that would get him high enough on armor to survive that combo (he only needed 4 armor to survive it in the end). All things considered, RNG wasn't on his side but even if he did Dr Boom, there is no guarantee he would win it anyway. Really sad sight to see such a good player lose like that. Love for Casie.
@@freeheart110 Neither of them made bad plays, both did good plays only. That's why they are top 4 in the world right now. His mct picks and desert hare mutate and that plague of murloc (which caster said was 1/11 chance but it's not true because many other spells would deal with that board, some even much better), but these weren't the deciding factors between winning and losing. The point is, that 2/5 games Casie could do NOTHING differently to change the outcome, which should not be the case. Take hunter game for example. If she did not topdeck Brann, Casie would be able to nourish and clear rag, and thus come back to the game. Game would then be played around Zul Jin, which is much more interactive and requires much more skill. In that case, good plays come into question. Then there are scenarios where Casie or Lion have multiple options to change the outcome of the game. He tried to do the same when he dug for hakkar, he tried to make Lion not able to do anything to change the outcome, because she would never be able to use Elise. If he went for Dr Boom, game would become much more interactive because both of them would make different and harder decisions. It is just that he didn't get the chance to lock her out of game once, and she did 2/5 games which is unfair because of how close it was. If you think there was a moment where Lion couldn't do anything differently to change the outcome (because of rng) please show me.
It’s stupid to talk about “if” in hearthstone. What if Casie didn’t discover plague of Murloc in the priest game? There won’t even be a perfect hand against Druid then.
@@freeheart110 Yea the VK is so good that she is using inner fire to reduce her minions attack when literally she could choose one of three other of her minions to buff their attack... Casters of corse only say it's weird, they don't call it out as a mistake becouse they don't want to be received as negative towards woman. I'm not saying she is bad but in comparison to other players it seriously looks like she is is getting perfect top decks every time enemy builds slight advantage...
What is she doing that no one else is? It is embarrassing how badly players were losing to her in this tourney. She clearly has something no one else does. Maybe a good support system or she is a genius I don’t know.
