only selects middle card and 9 of them are bad... in my last mage draft i selected the best that were available every single time yet still ended with somthing like 20 atrocious cards and no spells except 1 frostbolt and 1 poly because the draft was that terrible its a skill based game guys
luck is far more important then skill in this game m8 (not saying skill isnt important a good player will win more often then a bad ) but especialy in arena luck is really the be all and end all your unlucky your screwed simple as that really the other guy sucked quite clearly but he probebly got screwed over by the draw as well
gregsmw Did you watch the video?? How can you say luck is the be all end all when you just saw kripp wreck a guy with ysera and sylvannas in his draft?
Chayden he was obviously a new player.. he polymorphed a knife juggler for god's sake. kripp also got fairly good draw for how bad his deck is. He got good draws because of RNG (luck). I didnt see this on stream but i would bet that this is the only game he won with this deck. Even with as good as skill as kripp has it takes good cards and good rng to do well and to do better than winning one game... so you cant say this game is all skill, its luck more than anything
Chayden Are you really that ignorant and dumb to the situations that take place in this game? At certain points in time, certain cards can be good/bad. Kripp happened to draw a very good early/mid game, while the other guy did not (just assuming from what I saw, he could have made mistakes etc, but I cannot speculate that). He got his Legendaries when it was too late. Legendary sure, but when the game is already practically over due to the rush Kripp put on him with the strong start, what does Ysera/Sylvannas honestly do? Nothing. It is the luck of WHEN you draw the cards you need or when they will work in the best or a better situation. And that is just ONE variable of luck in Hearthstone Arena...If you cannot grasp these type of things, you might as well just stop while you're ahead and stop making such dumbass ignorant comments.
***** i watch dennis (force) daily and i think kripp is (slightly) better becouse he got more time to play alot more but if force got more time they shud be even, force got some much else to do Dont forget that :))
I think it bases your first match on the quality of your deck. I drafted a good deck last night (2 legendaries), went against a hunter with more or less the same legendaries and consequently lost.
Barney Gumble 1. the game cannot calculate the "quality" of a deck 2. kripp's deck sucked and the mage's was insanely good, so even if you were right, he would not have been matched against the mage.
@СергійБондарчук exactly my thoughts - out of my last 20-30 arena matches, only 1 or 2 were against obvious noobs like this, the rest was against very experienced players - particularly 1 mage, he had 2 cards in his hand constantly since t9, waited and baited me into populating my side of the board a little bit more, then flamestriked my ass into oblivion 2 times in a row to win the game. I had board control consistently whole game, but he tricked me into thinking he really doesn't have flamestrike, when in fact he did have, and he even top-decked another one :/
He plays several hours each day for this game. My question would not be "how did Kripp find these guys", but "upon hundreds of games he played each day, this match he considered entertaining to put on youtube".
Is it just me, or are people worse in US than EU? Or well I guess just more players so higher chance of meeting a noob because in all my games i've never met people who do stuff like this krips opponents.
one of my WoW friends downloaded and installed hearthstone before he even realised it was a card game, and was like "fuck this shit" ... some people dont even read
But more players doesn't equal a higher chance of meeting a noob. That's not how percentage works. Anyway I do actually agree with you. It seems like US players are just so much worse on average (it could also be sampling bias though).
Eddy Murphy Hard to draft as well as some of my opponents. I've never been offered the opportunity to draft Alexstraza, 3 fireballs, a frostbolt, a flamestrike, and a pyroblast (and that's just what I got hit with out of that deck).
Holy Shit... I feel really bad for that guy. I've also been having a lot of great arena drafts get crushed by mediocre/bad decks lately. The best draft of my life I lost 0-3. I get a borderline bad Druid draft and go 11-0 (Then 12-2). I don't understand this game anymore.
The truth is that everyone who doesn't play everyday for at least 8 hours can't be at the level of Kripp and others. For some of us it is just a method of spending a time. We have life and responsibilities in real world... And I also think that Kripp and other "pro's" should stop insulting other gamers during they plays.. at least when they are streaming... Regards.
A lot of people say this but EU arena vs NA arena.. What the actual fuck? If that opponent is a 1 on a a 1-10 scale then I've never under all my arena runs gone vs anyone below 5 in EU.
I miss the actual informative videos from Kripp. Hoped this was one of them. No wonder you weren't nominated as best stream for learning or whatever it was called:p
Kripp if you're here right now reading this I want you to know I dream of you. Sometimes I sit alone in my bathroom with the light off and pretend to be you. I'll say things like "hey guys how's it goin' Kripparrian here", and for a brief moment I feel you inside me..
How lucky some ppl get in the arena draft confounds me. Played against a newb mage the other day and lost cause he played 2 ragnaros back to back against my mediocre deck.
I have to admit when you have your hair cut and you beard trimmed you look like a decent fellow, it suits you way better than the nerdy i dont care what my face and surroundings look like look.
i am pretty sure they tidy him up a bit before he's allowed to go on stage at events .. for example, he always seems to be wearing clothes you dont see in his videos when he is on fight night .. and blizzcon? no frayed jizz-shirt there either
That was horrible, how does Kripp face such bad opponents? I never get that, but on a serious note when I draft Hunter the class I want to see most is mage. It's very easy to go under the mage and get the win before they can get the control lock on. They draft very few healing life protection. On the flip side... Paladins are a huge problem.
