This popular Hearthstone streamer, known more for his personality and luck than his skill, may nevertheless possess the strongest major tournament record of any player, with victories at IEM and M-house cup, plus a 2nd place finish at DreamHack.
TheFireflyGrave He won two tournaments. There's been a lot more than two tournaments. I know for sure that Gnimsh and Savjs have better records. And that's just two examples. edit: strifecro is another edit 2: in the related videos, there's a channel called hearthstone vods. it has a billion big tournaments. look through them
"force of nature doesn't have the word destroy in it's card text? I'm gona have to double check and look that up. pretty sure it reads destroy opponent's face." -hafu 2014
draikmage Kripp answered very quickly, correct or not. Trump and Hafu did spend too much time thinking, which was their downfall, as they missed on a lot of possibly easier questions.
This was so entertaining to watch, thanks to Amaz and milkcast for putting this together! Although I have to say the 1st jeopardy section was the best and most fair. Some of the questions at the end really varied in difficulty.
Oskari Kilpi well tbh i wasnt rooting for any1 but if i had to chose i'd say i pref kripp to win, yet i knew answer( i did space pause to answer before they did) for 15 of his questions whereas 8 for hafu and 5 for trump ( i dont belive he has twice as many questions as hafu did)
i knew this stupid comment would be posted somewhere. kripp answered faster and more accurately than trump or hafu. when kripp took a long time to think, he ended up guessing correctly on most. but when trump or hafu did that, they passed. that is unacceptable in the lightning round.
richardrises Its just my oppinion at the end of the day. I wasn't rooting for any of the players really, as it's all in good fun. No need for me to take sides. It's just that I felt he got the easier ones, mostly because I knew the answer to almost all his questions, but almost non of the questions after that. That's why :)
richardrises i actually agree, i wasnt rootin for any1 but i tried to guess ( space pause) on questions they got and with kripps i got 15 good answers and rest was 6 and 8.... srsly
Thalaranthey And did you count the amount of questions each one got? Due to Hafu's and Trump's long thinking time they didn't even get as many question as Kripp did.
I love the Way that everyone got a title like trump "the maor" haft "Queen penguin" amaz "rngesus" and kripp "kripp" i wa seriously Rolling on the floor
This was an incredible idea, and fairly well made for a first attempt! Really impressed, hope to see more like this in the future! Thank you for putting so much effort into something as fun and crazy as this! GG WP
I usually don't watch Amaz because I dislike his voice, but somehow when he's interacting with other people his voice is strangely pleasing. Not as pleasing as Hafu's dulcet tones, but pleasing.
Just like in the game "you don't know jack," the lightning round at the end makes up so damn much of the score, that the rest of the game may as well be pointless, as It only make up 1 5th of the score despite being most of the time, I would love to see more of these in the future, but please make the last round be like 2 gold per question or something.
You know this game will end up being shit on the first question when the host can't see Hafu raise her hand 3 seconds before trump, then calls on trump... >.>
you mean would keep her in a cage until she escapes, then kills you and your wife/husband just to be together with her special someone, and after that survives so long to be created in another universe just to kill herself there and be with her special someone again?
liked this a lot, too bad the ending didn't make much sense you only have to win the last game and you just win there's almost nothing you can do in the rounds before because they count for so amazingly little.
That's because this is not an official competitive tournament trying to find the most knowledgable player of hearthstone in the world, it's just supposed to be a fun gameshow. It's, however, in the nature of these shows, that the people are almost completely unprepared for what's coming and so there are huuuuge discrepancies between their skill levels at these questions. That's why, in order to avoid the situation where it's already decided halfway in, you need to progressively escalate the point gain so that everything is left open, otherwise hafu wouldn't have been able to actually catch up in the middle round. The most important thing to realise about this kind of show is that the title of winner means very little. It's the same principle that's used in mario kart, where items for people who are behind are so powerful that literally anyone, even people who never play games, is able to win once in a while, just by having a good streak at the final moments.
The reason for that it so that all the players stay interested. It definitely makes the first couple rounds rather obsolete, but it's more fun to watch all the contestants trying their hardest because they know they have a shot than for Hafu to just give up 10 minutes in.
24:56 Kripp was right. There are 8. Edwin, King Mulka, Tinkmaster, Thalnos, Lorewalker, Millhouse and Natpagle. That's likely Amazs list. BUT If you kill your opponents "The Beast".....Finkle Einhorn, 2 mana 3/3 Legendary. It was in the game at the time of this contest.
Amaz you said "....card that has divine shield in its card text but does not enter the battlefield with divine shield". no matter how u look at it your question means a card that does not have divine shield on itself when it enters the battlefield.
This was great! Kripp, I could totally get behind your devine shield arguement. I was thinking the exact same thing! You guys should do this again, but ask the same questions for the speed round. Figure out a way to only broadcast the questions to one person at a time, that way it's more controlled. (Think of Family Feud) Other then that, I really enjoyed this, great job hosting Amaz!
why were kripp's questions so much easier than the others, and why were those last questions so stupidly valuable, makes the rest of the game almost pointless assuming players of near equal skill
Bruh I have 5 years if ither hearthstone bullshit layered over this. So hard. 5 mana deathrattle minion in neutral? Theres like 10. What does the black night say when he attacks? No one has played that card in years
