I'm with Kripp on Mossy Horror. Especially because pint size potion is rotating out.

I think Tess Greymane is the first card we've ever seen that gets worse the more people are running it. EG: More people running Tess means they're playing Rogue, playing against Rogue makes Tess useless.

So this is the point when I would say in the set, “ok they are clearly setting up for future synergy in other sets” but after all of last year I can confidently say if any synergy that does happen will obviously be pure coincidence.

Book of Specters is really similar to tracking. Tracking costs one less but you're guaranteed to discard two of those three cards. Do I think paying one more mana is worth it? Hell yeah it is.

With the curator u could only draw minions with the countless ashmore uncan actually draw spells and weapons too so thats a + for me atleast

Book of specters is also incredible in wild freeze mage. To win the game you only need 2 spells so any combination of simulacrum and molten reflection means Exodia after a thaurissan discount

why the frick is totem cruncher a epic rarity card

A few of the rush cards, especially the 6-2 or 6-3 rush work with minion mage, as the 6-2 with rush /4mana is basically a control fireball that cant go through taunts.

Remember with tess greymane it was said that the cards are in a random order when replayed so it doesn't matter in what order you play them.

Countess enables the 8 cost 3/8 rusher that swaps stats in the start of your turn

like festeroot fascinates me because I want to try it in a big/quest priest... the question is whether that kind of desk can manage? I dunno

If the only deathrattles or lifesteal minions you had in your deck were two Obsidian Statues, would countess ashmore pull them both? One as a deathrattle the other as the lifesteal?

Arugal copies of minions can also be cost reduced by leyline manipulator. Play book with Arugal draw apprentice, reduce it to 0. Mby reduce archmage antonidas to 5 with a bit of luck.

Can anyone tell me the cards Tempo Rogue ALWAYS runs? Like, what's the "base" of the deck? I'll assume theres always Si7, Backstab etc .. Can you tell me the rest?

Does Kripp account for the fact that Lifesteal card works with spells aswell (priest 1mana aoe for example). Also lifesteal/deathrattle are both on obsidian statue.

well, totem crusher is meant to be played with primal talismans on a "weak board" on turn three, trade all an on turn four play totem crusher

Tess greymane also works with witchs cauldron.

Archmage Arugal + Book of Specters can be anywhere from 2 of the same card to *6* cards. You don't even have to run spells in mage you can just discover them all.

even tho I understand your review from Tess Greymane, I still really like her artwork and style and fits rogue really well

In mtg, Mitotic Slime costs 5 while being the essentially same card as splitting festeroot. Anyone got any ideas why 2 creatures would be THAT differently costed despite doing the exact same? I know why boardclears, spot removal and drawing is so different, but not creatures with that design. Exile being more prominent in mtg i guess? 3 mana though?

Kripp forgetting that turn 6 is when your opponent plays spreading plague. Mossy Horror is going to see a lot of play

Yeah, but at least with Tess you can just *not* play the death. I like controlled RNG, so even if Tess isn't good, I really like the design and I encourage Blizzards to keep that long of design up.

I feel like you glossed over bonfire elemental abit, it doesn't have crazy effects like servant but it keeps the chain going and it has good stats, playing elementals sometimes you find the only way to keep the chain going is to play firefly but with bonfire you just play it without the effect and get a good minion without losing too much like you would playing blazecaller or something

So would ashmore draw both obsidian statues?

Mossy Horror is still relevant on turn 6 against dude paladin.. And you can use potion to debugg. And 2/7 is good target for inner fire.

What Kripp din't mention about Countess is that it says "cards", not "minions". It can draw you stuff like spirit lash, spectral cutlass, blood razor, kingsbane. Shit, if anything, it can draw TWO obsidian statues: one for lifesteal and one for deathrattle.

Mossy Horror will be a auto include in wild priest for me, gimme those boardclear combos no matter how consistent it is

why's a 5 mana 5/5 bad? it sounds fairly good to me.

Countess is like an old ancient of lore but more stats and cards but harder to create good deck draws.

i think it should gain more based on which totem it eats, 0/3 card draw just 1:1 but like the 1/1 totem gives 2/2 is fine, but 0/2 taunt gives 0/2 and taunt, chip its cost down one, and the others spell power/healing etc, then its a fair card to play with one totem up.

Does Leeching Poison count as a Lifesteal card? If it does, I could see Countess fetching Kingsbane/Leeching.

I suppose Face Collector may find a home with Tess Graymane since Face Collector doesn't care about class and can actually generate some value in Rogue vs Rogue matchups.

I'm not sure if Blizzard has confirmed this or not, but I belive that the whole RoguevRogue with Tess Greymane won't be na issue . It didn't used to be an issue with Ethereal Peddler and than they errated it, so it's even more confusing.

I just thought about something. Tess greymane could be secretly OP. Because say for example you get a DK card from another class(so you’re officially a different class other than rogue) so all the rogue cards you played previous will be played again all at once. So say you played a vanish and an evasion secret plus a bunch of damage dealing cards like sinister strike and eviserate. So now the only targetable thing is your opponents face and all of the damage is going there. That’s really high rolly but it will happen. Lol

Even shaman has more big bodies then wide boards. Having 1 mana totem hero power helps a lot with totem cruncher to have a big body.

TESS Greymane - Rogue v Rogue doesn't matter if use the cards that make shaman cards.

Festerroot is not 1 12\12 worth of stats, you cannot add the attack as they will not be on the board together. It's a 4\12

Splitting festeroot with that 6 mana hunter copy a death rattle effect could make it decent
