Monster Hunt wasn't released right away because it interfered with people buying packs and we know Blizzard can't have that. Pack purchases were lower in the beginning of Kobolds & Catacombs because of Dungeon Run and they didn't want that again with Witchwood.

I've played about 50 games so far, and faced Shudderwock 4 times, 2 of which I won. So I don't really get the obsession with it. I do get that the animation needs to be fixed.

So I opened a bunch of packs and thought about making a stupid deck at rank 18 and I actually can't believe it.... Basically the deck: Paladin 15x 1 drops (You get where this is going) 2x cult master Prince Kelseth Prince Liam Zola *Fill rest with winmore* Deck had a 70 percent win rate while I played. Holy crap the funniest rng deck I've played.

Ok Kripp, about the PvE mode delay, you're just saying the "correct" answer, but we all know it's just about selling more packs.

No Elemental shaman eh? With additional of Hagatha and some card , It give elemental shaman so much power that they once lack. Normally elemental shaman doesn't have many spell , meaning they have to rely on using battlecry to deal with enemy board. But now with Hagatha and Sandbinder . You now have additional board clear + resource generation. Now this deck can go far beyond it original limit. Now you got. 2x Tar creeper and Hot spring elemental for additional hp. And taunt against aggro. 2x Lightning Storm and Hagatha for board clear. And Hagatha herself double as resource generator. Kalimos for addtional board clear/heal or burst. Grumble for chain combo. 2x Fire Plume Phoenix/Fire Elemental/Blaze Caller , each for ping/burst/board control. 2x Fire Plume Harbinger for cost reduction. 2x Murmuring Elemental for double battle cry. Combo with Blaze Caller or Kalimos(9 mana 10 damage and 7/7 worth of stat or 10 mana 12 damage and 9/9 worth of stat) is no joke. And sometime if you play all of that and can bring Grumble to bounce them back........well......Be prepare for the firework. 2x Servant of Kalimos and Earthen Might for additional resource generator. 2x Sandbinder just for draw. It maybe not tier 1 but it very very fun to play. It is deck that you have to be very adaptive when you play unlike braindead cubelock or smorc paladin(It so boring to see those deck play the same step every time). You have to use your resource carefully for maximize to value. And Hagatha can spice thing up so hard sometime.

6:40 actully the main reason is that the sale for packs in kobolds for the first week was low becuase most players played doungen run so to gain more profit they delayed the doungen run

Hunter is really fun right now. Scavenging Hyena and mastiff is fucking strong. Also Thundra Rhino into volcanosaur is insane.

Last time I was this early, WW3 hadn’t started yet.

I'm just neutral to this expansion. I felt like Blizzard did nothing to hype it up. The last 3 expansions brought us Quests, Death Knight & Weapons while this had nothing to offer. don't get me wrong, I love knew Hearthstone content no matter what it is, but it just feels lack luster.

if youre playing against nothing but paladin, Control Warrior just takes a shit on it. Warpath,Bloodrazor and whirlwinds tend to be very good against paladin.

My first impressions, include MANY more minions and very few spells. Minions have so much more value now, so it's made spell shitty. Decks to watch out for... Agro odd Paladin Agro odd Hunter Tempo Shudderwock Shaman Elemental Mage Once Priest figures out how to play Lady in White it'll be legit.

New arena isn't crazy broken like before. I haven't gotten a single legendary in 8 runs. On average decks are better but not amazing like before. The main issue is that it is currently an MC tech meta. The card shows up ~2x on average every draft. I had a draft where I was offered MCT 5x! Small sample size I know but I'm also coming across MCT a lot as well.

I think it's astonishing if the meta stays like this, with two top tier decks carrying over from the previous rotation, goes to show how overpowered Paladin aggro and Cubelock are And btw if you were thinking Kripp was kidding about Shudderwock and 30-minute turns, he wasn't there are videos of just that in RU-vid. You run into shudderwock decks at fucking rank 24. I love building a crappy deck, testing it, and finding someone playing someone else's stupid deck they found online and copied. Also, I love 25 minute turns. Who doesn't?

Shudderwock is such cancer, i dont understand why he just destroys the turn timer. Other combos don't do it like he does. Seems like the second Shudderwock gets played it just shuts off the timer. Seriously annoying that this is a big deck. I hate playing aggro and like controlling aggro decks, but when every other game is Shudderwock and I know that in a 25 minute long game, I have a 50/50 chance of out playing him in the last cards is super bad feels. Guess I am going to just have to play mid range mage minions till they fix this shit.

Hearthstone just died for me I think, 90% of my cards were from Gadgetzan old gods and karahzan. Now I am basically a f2p and no way in hell am I buying the new expansion. The sad part is f2p has no chance in this game there simply just isn't enough time to grind for a decent deck by the time a f2p grinds enough dust and gold for a decent net deck another new expansion washes everything away.

Was trying hand druid until I realized it's a gaurenteed loss against shudderwock. I can destroy aggro paladin though. If only I wasn't facing 80% shudderwock BS

I have had an extremely good run using elemental mage. You have a decent amount of early game and cant generally grind out the aggro decks by fighting for board and then stabilizing with jaina, and really running through your deck with specters/bonfire elementals. Can also choose not to throw down books of specters for fatigue games. The spellstone has been pretty useful as well with leylines. I dont have enough cards to make the one i want, but i would say its worth tinkering with. Can struggle with cubelock since im missing some specific cards, but unless they burst you down very quickly its generally an okay matchup.

I played one tempo rogue I've mostly played against cube, aggro palidin and shudderwock. I'm so sick of cube when I finally amassed the cards to play it an extremely expensive deck I didn't enjoy it and I'm tired of playing against it.

Cubelock got stronger, Wock Shaman is idiotic if it works, but usually doesn't, and aggro Paladin is the most cancerous cancer that ever cancered. And there's multiple aggro Paladins and they all work.

The failure of this expansion is that it hasn't changed the meta at all. I'm still playing the same 2 decks over, and over, and over again on ladder. Aggro Paladin and Control/Cube Warlock. These decks have dominated for months and continue to dominate now. I've never been so bored after an expansion as I am now.

Zoolock is pretty good can't wait until he makes one and showcases it, and I can fix Shudderwock all your battecries trigger that you played on the previous turn instead of the whole match, that way no thirty minute turns, if blizzard does this you're welcome I don't need a job position at your company or any recognition just admit your quality testing group cares nothing of meta or power curves

Lunch was shit. 3 packs (I miss old gods packs) no new game mode. The constructed is cool but that's it. Disappointing a bit :/ I wait for new game mode now

Really? I played 90% cubelock and the rest was shudderwock Shaman. That kinda killed a lot of the fun for me because it was like I was almost playing the same ladder as before.

I don't know if it's general burnout or this expansion is shockingly lackluster, but I have never been so bored with Hearthstone. Sometimes I launch it, look at the title screen, then just quit out

I completely understand WHY they delayed the single player mode, but the fact that that they even *have* to do that in the first place should tell them that there is a huge desire for good single player CCG content. Make more of it, Blizzard!!

My first impression was how cheap decks were. With the preorder packs and some disenchanting I was able to make face hunter, odd paladin, shudderwock shaman, and tempo rogue.

Yeah... it's gonna be the same meta xD pally/warlock are just too strong. Call to arms needs to probably 5. Doom pact needs to heal for less and/or needs to cost 2. Doom guard needs to be nerfed for as long as this type of deck exists.

Shudderwock might be a tier 2 deck at winning, but it's a tier 0 deck at being cancer. Holy shit I haven't ever seen cancer metastasis this hard and fast, with something this deadly to fun.

shudderwock combo must go. krip even said himself it defeats all controls deck. and control deck can defeat most aggro decks, but since shaman still out there, better play agro deck now.

Im really tired of doomguards. That battlecry makes it balanced. Negating that battlecry makes it broken. This deck needs to die

Everytime I watch a replay of hearthstone I keep waiting for the amazing moment and then suddenly the clip ends without anything interesting happening.

Temporous is actually pretty good in super fatigue, basically acts like a coldlight if the board state is favorable

i got baited by the circlejerk of reddit and crafted the shaman otk deck and in the end i fought mainly against dragonpriests and aggro recking me. Its fun though

Fastest hotfix from Blizz was the Paladin that one shot Lord Kazzak in Vanilla.

It does not scale off of itself, it repeats only the other battlecries you played in a random order and the murmuring elemental makes it do it twice for each.

“Crazy Arena” is simply so that the new crazy high power cards see play in Arena mode. Example: I started a new arena run with Paladin. I got a bunch of good early game, 2 “Sound the Bells!”, 3 “Spikeridged Steeds”, AND “The Lich King” (Yeah, I’m part of the 9%). I also got a couple “Paragon of Light”s, “Ravencaller”s and “Witchwood Grizzly”. The only decks that have given me some trouble were Rogues, simply because “Pick Pocket”, “Face Collector” and “Blink Fox” are crazy value card generation. Fortunately even they can’t keep up with all my buffs, so I’m finding it pretty easy. Don’t wanna jinx it, but I could go 12-0 with this deck.
