Hey Kripp, loving this deck! I don't have the Twilight Summoners, so I subbed in a Saronite Chain gang (for survivability) and an Abominable Bowman, which works great with some of the deathrattle activation combos, much to my delight. Thanks for the continuous great content!

@lightbladeMCnStuff rank #15. sad thing is: i belive HS turned into a rock-sics-papers game where u barely cant take ur counter down, this is, of course, if you are not running those tryhard tier 1 decks. i.e. my evolve shaman takes some hard time dealing with hard control (priest/mage/warlock and even paladin, depending on the situation) jade druid kinda suffers from low rank's budget aggro, unless if i adapt my list (wich has no fandrall btw)

For those who are wondering the miss lethal, play terrorscale stalker, trigger deathrattle, recruit a devilsaur or crush, kill the taunt w kathrena, carnivorous cube kathrena, recruit other beast, candleshot to face. 7+8+1=16 (lethal).

Won't happen, can't really climb playing fun decks in this meta when ladder is all aggro paladin, razakus priest, tempo rogue, cubelocke or secret mage. If Kripp actually got past rank 19 he would see how cancer this expansion really is when winning or losing depends on how early you draw and play corridor creeper

I built a variant of this, slightly weaker because i don’t have all the cards, so I used mastodons instead of devilsaurs, and Nat Pagle instead of Thalnos. The deck can certainly win games, but it has a problem with drawing the three beasts early, so that Kathrena is less valuable. Usually I win with the summoner/cube combo and then king krush.

This deck has a hard time even reaching turn 8 to play Kath. I had to put in Mistress of Mixtures, Prince Valanos and Aboms to make it more reliable.

You do realize that they reset the ranks every single month right? So...like literally everyone gets dumped down there regardless of how good their decks are.. even pros.. even world champions. They all get dumped down there every month. Everyone does.

Appears that this is just a way slower version of cube lock. Warlock has 3 recruit/summon big ass minion cards for 5 mana and one for 10 mana. That's a lot better than starting to do that with 8 mana and only 1 legendary.

well, combo warrior is a deck with which you have to draw almost all the cards from your deck to even play a combo - this one is far more superior and has more tools to play around the corner, with combo warrior you just had to pray that opponent won't have a shitty 1/1 taunt on the board

lagg1e Well the hunter version has some flexibility with stitched tracker letting you choose if you want more recruit cards, if you need a cube or if you want a deathrattle trigger

Why didnt kripp play around counter spell at 16:36 with explosive trap? Maybe he thought the game was won? or am i missing something

Mostly because the deck the opponent was playing doesn't usually run Counterspell. Elemental Control (?) Mage, or just Elemental Mage in general, need to run a certain number of elementals to consistently get their pay-off cards to trigger (Servant of Kalimos, Blazecaller and possibly the spellstone, if the opponent was going all-in), as well as the usual board control tools AND Ice Blocks, so their just isn't enough space in decks like those to run a card like Counterspell, which doesn't even benefit the deck to begin with.

Pretty big misplay at 16:40. If the secret was counterspell he could not stop the doomsayer. If he had used the 3 cost creature instead it could not be countered.

Correct me if I'm wrong but: Kripp did not miss lethal. He missed a better play for sure. But that play would've gottenh him the Charged Devilsaur which is only 7 damage + 8 from the King Krush leaves opponent with 1HP... Am I missing something?

thought recruit hunter card was terrible... it still kinda is but hunter still needs better 4-6 drops that also provide healing and stall. late game memes are great n all but it'll never make control hunter work if all they do is provide late game potential and early game aggro cards with the entire middle game missing unless you have draw or neutrals
