Thanks for this video. I just started playing yesterday and got some decks up to level 10, won 1 arena game and a good deal of unranked games, but mostly spent the night getting my ass kicked so I'm trying to learn better deck construction. I noticed as you pointed out in my video there are many times I don't have shit in my hand or on the board... Thanks again for the video!
Some of your card choices are a bit weird. There are cheaper options that are better for some. But overall a good video to make a good first deck and something to build off. You should have talked about side clearing cards. A lot of people fall victim to consecrate, swipe, and whatever the mage uses. Good video tho. Screw Murloc Warlocks.
Griffin McElroy great video, this could definitely help a ton of beginners and I wish I had this around when I started playing, would have certainly saved me a ton of learning time!
Isaac Campos It's where you look up a good deck, instead of trying to build your own. Basically, google good basic hearthstone decks and you will find lists telling you decent decks you can build with what you have without having to depend on random card drops. Oh, to be clear, some of these decks require that you leveled whatever class you have to lvl 10, since it's at 10 that you have all the cards it's going to give you.
Thanks for the explanation, I do netdecks. Specially the basic ones from Icy veins they helped me win my first few games while I gained understanding of the game. Right now I don't have the cards to netdeck more advanced decks so I try to build my own and from time to time I netdeck some.
I think I suck at this game. I mean, I might be sucking because I only started today, but I can't win even a single practice match. I always get destroyed.
Michael Jason Seibert Nah... I said practice matches, but I've gotten a bit better since I wrote that comment, so it's ok. Now I only get destroyed half of the time against real people.
Remy Blas i get destroyed by people because i don't have any high tier cards and my class level were still low...but yeah you have to play practice over and over if you grow tired with people with rare cards xD
+Bob Frith Look at the wiki for the Meta. It'll describe favorable matchups, which will help you beat those first few practice matches. Welcome to the game!
