+Captain Squirrel Thanks Captain Squirrel! I really appreciate the like even though you're not interested, means a lot to me. I totally understand so I have plenty more Aoe2/other stuff on the way. :)
Hello everyone! I'm going to ask you to do something. Please don't dislike this video just because you don't like seeing Res uploading Hearthstone videos. It hurts his channel. Instead, consider giving a healthy like to his Hearthstone videos. Thank you.
Awesome video man! Might get back into this game because of this! I've been watching your channel for a while now. Love your videos!! Best game commentaries on youtube!! Cheers! :) :)
So, really don't care for Hearthstone. Think it looks extremely boring. But, since it is you, and you asked for the support, I will give it a view and a like. And a try I guess, maybe I'm wrong about it.
This was a fantastic tutorial! Very informative, but kept simple so even a potato like me could understand, hehe. I've never played a game of Hearthstone in my life before this, but after watching I felt prepared enough to try it. I went in and actually found it very easy thanks to all the stuff I learned from watching this :) I'm completely new to this game, and usually terrible at games, especially complicated ones, especially especially when they have cards and crazy shenanigans in them. But I got in and felt like I was totally OP haha. This is an excellent place for new players to start, and I'd absolutely recommend it to everyone :D glhf!
Have you played other CCGs like M:TG (you mention it, but not whether you played it) or Netrunner? I've played a lot of those and am wondering how hearthstone compares.
I would love to see you play some off meta decks, I want to try them myself but I just dont have the collection to do so (I am working on it tho). I even bought an advernture cause a lot of people recommended it (it was naxxramas tho :p ),
I'm an AOE2 scrub who watches your videos in an attempt to get better at it. I enjoyed this video and I'm going to try heartstones because of it. Keep making content res!
Hey Res, as you like Hearthstone and AoE, I wanted to recommend you the game Duelyst. It is a turn based strategy game (and it is freeeeeeee). Give it a try, you may like it!
You said there are three types of cards in HS. you said spells and minions but that's it. You went on a long description of minions but forgot the third type
And res, you forgot/left out the hidden gold for beating all innkeeper heroes on hard mode and for wins in matches against players! Especially the innkeeper money is very helpful to head start free to play players like me!
is this game pay to win because i understand your point but aoe you buy it once and never again but pay to win games can cost you hundreds of dollars if you seriously want to be good at it. otherwise take my like
Nice video but man, it's a tutorial, I sent this to my girl friend but she cant follow this you speak so fast. She said it was spoken too rapidly she couldn't catch many info
What I love most about your videos is the commentary. It's casual but shows your understanding of the deeper strategy, and really shows your enjoyment of playing the game. I'm not a twitch viewer, but I've watched all of your uploaded streams. Maybe another pokemon playthrough? The epic tale of D1rtybirch was very entertaining.
Frankly, for the time being I find the game quite tedious, but still, your tutorial is a whole lot of useful insights about the mechanics! You even give out some ways to earn gold I wasn't aware of! Thanks for your commitment! :)
Thanks Rezo, I've been playing for about a week now and your summary there really has helped to get my head on straight. It's not a friendly game to jump in to this far along, so this was appreciated.
Hey res, due to your recommendation I started playing heartstone a couple of weeks ago and I am loving it, looking forward to maybe playing with you on your stream. Are you going to cover all heartstone classes and strategies for newer players with normal cards? Keep up the good work :)
thanks for posting extra content AND aoe on the same day(: thats awesome, i liked the tut also, i play competitive magic and have quite the collection!
Thank you for taking the time and making this video. Hope to see more soon. You already improved my gameplay in AoE2 now I'm sure to get some great results in hearthstone too:) would love to see some of your decks in action.
Sorry but I really can't stand it when a channel that used to do something entirely different is starting with HS videos. There's a million (literally) tutorials out there already and pretty much every RU-vid channel is swapping to HS videos. I can understand that you're looking for support, but I'm not going to 'like' something that I don't like just for the sake of supporting.
+moepskie He is not "swapping" to Hearthstone though, it's extra content on the side. AoE doesn't draw enough viewers to be able to support the channel just on that. If you want him to continue making AoE videos, disliking (or not liking) this has the opposite effect of what you want.
Jineapple Not really, that's blackmailing. If a person tells you he's going to give you tons of cash, but only if you jump off a cliff first, are you going to do it as well?
+moepskie Hopefully you at least didn't press that dislike button. Res made this video so people can follow his upcoming Hearthstone stream which is, of course, extra content.
Rabbit Tortoise I did dislike it as Resonance22 said that the support for his HS videos leads to more AoE2 content. I don't see how HS and AoE2 are related to each and therefore question how on earth HS can possibly lead to more AoE2 content. All this only translates to blackmailing and saying ''So ya want more AoE2? Well fuck you, you're not getting more AoE2 content unless ya like my HS vids first."
Jineapple Also, it doesn't really matter what I want. All that matters is what Resonance22 wants. We are part of his income, he is not part of our incomes.
