I always remember as a livi fan being at the livi raith game this day and the person behind me kept updating everyone on the hearts score (because cowden and alloa were in the relegation battle with us) and it honestly was unreal as the goals kept going in and in.
as a jambo I'm absolutely delighted, so so so proud of the team, but cowdenbeath really need to sort out their defence and the goalie, some of those shots wouldn't have gone in if he'd actually tried... still Ozturk's goals are UNREAL!!

It was getting embarrassing for Cowdenbeath and I'm pretty sure there were instructions to take the foot off the gas...there's no shame in practicing some compassion...Hearts have been in similar situations.
I don't know why this was on my recommended but I then remembered that hearts will be playing in that league again for the 2020/21 season. How did it even happen with hearts having about the 5 best team in the league

Immaculate finishing. 5 strikes from outside the penalty area (2 of them goal of the season contenders). Keeper had no chance with any of the goals!! Cowdenbeath may have been poor but Hearts were totally ruthless!!!!

As a Kilmarnock fan back in the early eighties, I was in the main stand when Killie forced a 2-2 draw with the Jam tarts... some opinionated and rather pompous fellow behind us, tapped me on the shoulder and said "this team will *NEVER* enhance the Premier League".. and walked off... I always held that against Hearts fans.... So maybe it's time I didn't anymore.. Yes, it will be a big step up .. but I am going to lay that guy's comment to rest... Hearts WILL enhance the Premier League... just don't get pompous..ok?? :)

My son took ill a few minutes into the game so we had to nash - 0-0. By the time I got to Sainsbury's it was about 5 nil. Could have leathered the soft wee shite.
Wow, it's amazing, looking at the comments, just how many people came to this video just to let everyone know just how much they hate scottish football. It's football, it's a glorious, global game. I don't look at any other countries league games, and look down my nose in complete and utter disdain. Really quite sad. This was always a total mis-match of a game anyway, for any person who bothered to check. Apparently the entire scottish league, all 4 tiers, is all, completely, entirely mediocre at best with no quality or depth...it's the beautiful game, yeah there's crap football but there's also incredibly underestimated football too

Haha lol. Great goals though, gotta say. Some teams in other leagues could learn from that (including many teams at the bottom of the table, and others like Torquay united)
This is how bad the championship in Scotland is because in the championship in england you wouldn't have for example Derby county beating Blackpool 10-0
Sunderland lost 8 - 0 to Southampton earlier this season, so I'm guessing the EPL is equally as bad ? What about when Bournemouth also won 8 - 0 AWAY to Birmingham earlier this season, wouldn't that also make the Championship bad ?
It is, but this is a 2nd tier game between the runaway leaders and a side in relegation trouble. Hearts are 20 points clear at the top while Cowdenbeath have 18 points for the season.
That is utter humiliation, of course a hearts fan will be chuffed with this result but that isn't football. I'd rather see a game finish 0-0 than see a professional side hit double figures against another, total shambles.
Hearts don't deserve to be in the league, it's like putting Spurs or Southamption in the Championship, of course they're going to pump the bottom teams by stupid scorelines.
Way to tar the whole 4 tiers with the same brush...Hearts practically have the same squad they did in the Premiership with players added in both windows this season, Cowdenbeath are (no disrespect to 'Beath fans) a perennial 2/3rd division team with absolutely NO strength in depth at all. Hearts, as said, are as strong a squad as they were before they were docked points and relegated last season, sold a good young player to Swansea, but added quality players this season. They were always going to do really well this year having that squad, sorting their off field issues out, getting a young, modern manager and having a generally good ethos, footballing strategy. So maybe a bit unfair there...
David Terrasidius Hardly, only one team in Scotland can win the win the SPL. Don't even deny it. It's not even worth watching because you know who's going to win. With rangers it was a bit more exciting, but only a bit. The fact of the matter is that it's been 32 years since a team which wasn't either Celtic or Rangers won the SPL.
Sloth from The Goonies I clearly can't claim that there has been a real title fight since Rangers went down but what I am saying is that there is improvement across the bigger teams, Aberdeen in particular. It will take a few seasons but hopefully for the benefit of the game there will be, say, 4 teams with a chance, the main problem is only Celtic and Rangers have the infrastructure to challenge domestically and in Europe, it's been 7 years since a scottish team was in a European final (but only about 4 years further back from that for the Celtic/Porto final) but in that time the other historically successfully teams (in terms of domestic/Europe), Aberdeen in particular, have really dragged themselves into the modern age with things like sport science etc, not there yet but like I said hopefully in a few seasons s time we should have around a handful of teams really challenging each other. Aberdeen are currently about to build their first truly modern training grounds, there is progress. Which is positive.
David Terrasidius I'm speaking very much about the present, and currently there isn't much to be excited about. Training facilities are good, but they don't guarantee success, only finance can do that.
Your right about that, although I would say that player wages, transfer fees/buyout clauses ("a billion for Ronaldo anyone?", :)) have become a bit blown out of proportion and maybe if you had a squad of hard working, talented, super-fit players who believed that they had a chance to beat anyone if they gave everything for the 90 mins would have a decent chance against a Real, Barca, Bayern, Chelsea etc and belief, attitude, hard work and fitness are all relatively cheap to implement. Also with the benefit of a reasonably tight, competative league behind them of course. But money only really buys you players, for the most part anyway, and there are always good players available, players that have the potential to be great, and ultimately what turns potential into talent is training, fitness, belief etc...
Harsh penalties - didn't look a red card as the ball was already bouncing away from goal when the guy was tripped. The third was soft but giveable sure. Bit unsporting of the no 6 to score like that. These commentators are as bad as the Celtic TV ones... like at 10-0... it's a bit easy now... because at 9-0 (or even 2-0...especially 3-0 vs 10 men) Hearts were still facing an uphill battle to see the game out. They like to spell things in Edinburgh. Good for the literacy I suppose. So Hearts TV man, whom do you support? Um...H-E-A ... R-T-S ... yes Hearts. What was the score? Oh, 9-0, that's n-i-n-e... no wait, 10-0, t-e-n...
It's the SPFL now, and this is the Championship, i.e 2nd tier, similar to the English version which Leicester will be playing in again next year by the looks of things.
this isn't the spfl and you're team are 20th. If you think 10-0 means the league us bad that's stupid because in the premier league this year there was a game that ended 8-0 so you're league isn't that much better...
